Time passes by and every day that passed, Aaron's condition deteriorated more and more, it became obvious that he would soon die if they didn't get medical attention.

Xerome is still the leader in their community and he hasn't shown any signs of weakness or hesitation, he does things without regret or thought, his plan of destroying the city was still very solid and even if it failed, it was better than living like they were.

Kevin and the others were watching Aaron's vitals from time to time, but he was so weak and tired, he barely even has enough energy to talk and move.

After watching him sleep for 2 hours, a doctor comes in with a tray containing medicine for Aaron's pneumonia. He sets up the bed in the corner of the room and puts the medication on the tray, the doctor explains what he was gonna do, he wanted to examine Aaron.

A few minutes later the doctor has finished examining Aaron, then the doctor turns to them, he says he needs some volunteers to take Aaron to the recovery area in order to perform an autopsy to figure out what happened to Aaron, he says that Aaron might not wake up after they perform the autopsy.

Xerome, Ben and Kevin all volunteer to accompany Aaron, after they had volunteered they went with the doctor to Aaron's recovery room, Kevin and Kevin sat down at the edge of the bed, Kevin gently placed his hand onto Aaron's forehead, Kevin's heart clenched a little bit when he felt Aaron's fever, Kevin noticed that Aaron's breathing was getting worse, Kevin could feel Aaron's shallow breaths in his chest and as Kevin held Aaron's hand tighter. Kevin heard the doctor asking for permission to take out some of Aaron's lung's to examine Aaron's lungs, Kevin hesitantly nodded his head yes to the doctor's question. The doctor begins to extract and remove lung tissue from Aaron's lungs, Kevin felt horrible seeing Aaron's face turn pale and his lips turning blue, Kevin's eyes watered at seeing the state that Aaron's in, Kevin felt tears pricking his eyes but he tried his best to not let any drop.

After what seems like hours to Kevin he and the others watch the doctor take out the last piece of lung, after everything he had done, Aaron still hasn't moved or showed any sign of life.

"He is alive...but barely." Replied the doctor. Kevin looks at the doctor in disbelief. It didn't make any sense...why wouldn't Aaron wake up? His boyfriend had a mild asthma attack and now he was lying still, unmoving, and lifeless as his organs slowly stopped working and his blood circulation was cut off.Aaron will survive says Doctor.

"Wait! What happens now?" Kevin asks looking at the doctor with desperate hope.

Doctor: "We wait for him to wake up and determine whether he has survived or not, I will come and notify you once the surgery is complete, for now, all that we can do is wait."

"But why didn't he wake up? Why isn't he awake yet?!" Kevin cries in despair.

Doctor: "He will wake up Kevin, but not right away, so I suggest you go home and spend time with family and friends, the surgery should only take three to four hours." The doctor says leaving the room.

Kevin stays there in silence for the entire time that the doctor was gone, he doesn't leave the room because he just needs to make sure that Aaron is alright, Kevin sits there on Aaron's hospital bed until someone knocks at the door.

Ben answers the door and a female doctor enters. She looks at the floor, not saying anything.

Doctor: "Is your name Mrs...."

Mrs.: "Schuester."

Doctor: "Hello, I'm Dr. Schue I'll be doing the surgery on Mr. Schuester,"

Mrs.: "Can I go to his room too? Please?"

Doctor: "Yes, of course"

Ben opens the door wider for Mrs. Schue.

passed 90 days is Aaron finely managed to survive and recovered from injuries and infections, Kevin and the rest of the gang helped Aaron recover his health, his lungs and muscles healed and he could breathe on his own again.

One night Kevin is laying in his bed thinking how lucky he was to have found a family of brothers, Ben, Kermit, Vito, Kiko, and Carla who all care so deeply about Kevin and love him dearly and he loved them all back.

, Kevin stands next to Aaron as they all drink a toast to their friend and future sibling.

Everyone claps happily and congratulate Aaron, Kevin smiles and looks at Aaron.

All of a sudden Kevin feels warm arms encircle him from behind, Kevin turns around to look behind him and sees his girlfriend smiling down at him, he wraps his hands around hers.

Kevin says hugging her tightly, she holds Kevin tightly in her arms whispering in his ear.

Kier: Thank you, you're such a sweetheart, but I'm glad that you're safe with us, I'm sorry that this happened to you Kevin, I know you must be scared, but I can assure you that you'll always be safe here with us.

Kevin smiles up at his girlfriend.

Kevin: Thank you love,I am so grateful.

Kirby: So how was the big party?

Kevin: Amazing, the people were amazing and the food was amazing.

Kirby: Good, I'm glad you were able to meet new people and hang out with them.
