Chapter 22 A Strange Place

I glared hard at him. 

Really?

"You are one real grumpy mister. Are you so old that you know nothing about humor? You should humor me once in a while."

He folded his arms across his chest, and cocked a brow up.

"What did I say about insulting words?"

"I'm not scared of you." 

I countered.

He scoffed in disbelief as he unfolded his arms from across his chest and turned his body so he was towering above me.

"Good for you." He said.

There was no hint of a smile on his face which should have deterred me from the start, but instead, there was a strong urge inside of me to defile his words as much as I could. I couldn't see his hounds anywhere near here anyway.
