Chapter 30 The Questioning

A little bit of GORE. 

They were running after her. The look on their faces as they chased her were viscous. The words they chanted had her thoughts in a chaos. Her heart jumped every now and then because it seemed like the faster she ran, the closer they got. 

They weren't like the sweet loving families that she had lived with, no. They were monsters. The madness had made them this way. Seraphina tripped on her feet, and fell to the ground in a heap. She tried getting up, but it felt like an invincible force was holding her down. Her eyes watered in fear, while her heart thudded in her chest as she watched them close in on her.

When they got closer, they all surrounded her, with wild looks on their faces. They looked thirsty for blood, her blood.
