I hadn't expected Lucas to be so bold as to come talk to me in front of Romeo, despite the warnings Romeo had given him. I was a bit nervous and stumped as I didn't know how to react at first. But when I looked into his eyes, they seemed different, I saw a look I hadn't seen in him before and it intrigued me, his little act of defiance certainly made him look hot right now if not anything.

"Sure, let's go", I answered him and I could tell he was stunned. He wasn't expecting that from me at all.

I flashed him one of my charming smiles.

"To the library", I answered calmly turning my gaze back to Romeo who was now looking between me and Lucas.

"And why would you go to the library with this punk?", he asked as he glared at Lucas.
