Tiana Almirez is an illegitimate child born into a rich family. She is a smart girl with a case of low self esteem. Or at least she was.

Lucas Williams is a teenager who has dealt with his fair share of mental health issues. When he is transferred to a new school, he can't help but immediately notice the popular girl whose eyes were so desperately screaming the very thing he had wanted the people around him to hear when he was at his lowest, 'Save Me!'

"Want to come over to my house?", I asked her and she looked at me stunned.

It was understandable for her to be surprised, I just asked her to come over to my house all of a sudden, even I was surprised with myself.

"The thing is we don't have lots of free period together that we could work on the project and because someone decided to go for a topic that needs extension research, our project might need a lot more time than others", I told her.

"We can make it work", she answered indifferently.

"I don't think so. It would help if we could work on the project after school", I told her.

"So want to come over?", I asked again.

She stared at me silently for a while. I couldn't tell what she was thinking, her eyes were blank, calm, showing no emotion, but I knew better than to believe that.

"No", she finally answered after some time.
