"Guys, people are coming. A lot of them!"
The Hand came in large numbers. There was no way they could hide from Matt's super senses.
Noticing the dense footsteps in Chinatown, his expression changed, and an uneasy feeling flooded his mind.
"It's the Hand's ninjas."
Danny glanced at the scene downstairs through the window on the second floor. It was obvious that the Hand had no intentions of hiding.
"Looks like the battle is happening earlier than expected," Luke said with a frown, touching his still painful wound.
Even with their extraordinary abilities, the Defenders weren't made of iron and couldn't suddenly recover from the wounds of the previous battle.
Matt reluctantly stood up with his guide stick, stumbled, and then stood firm with Wesley's help, "While we need time, it's clear that the Hand won't give it to us. Guys, this next battle is going to be dangerous, we might even ..."
At this point, Matt was silent for a moment. Although he couldn't see, he turned his head and observed the people in front of him through his super senses, "We might end up losing our lives."
"At this point, could we even escape?" Jessica grimaced, feeling unfazed.
"Since the beginning, this battle is out of our control." As Luke stood up, the injuries on his body made him frown. But he still spoke in a deep voice, "If we didn't stop the Beast now, Hell's Kitchen and Harlem would be next. Don't forget what Ah Xing called him."
"The ultimate king of killers."
Muttering the Beast's title, the clone, Wesley, made his usual cold expression, "Nothing is true; everything is permitted."
"What do you mean?"
Jessica instantly asked out, as these words were said midst of a serious scene.
"This is the creed of The Brotherhood, it's Iranian ..."
"Forget it, you can talk about it later when we get out of here alive." Waving her hand, Jessica stopped Wesley's explanation.
Among the people here, Danny wasn't close to the Defenders, but he was clearly at odds with them. Having fought against them before, he didn't think the Hand would let him off easy, so he joined the fight without hesitation.
In the end, Ip Man was the only one that hadn't made a decision.
Seeing the gazes from the group of people, Ip Man faintly smiled and nodded without hesitation.
"Since it's about the Beast, as a member of Peng Lai, I would never stand by and do nothing."
...
The massive group of the Hand's ninjas, unsurprisingly, scared away the customers in the Chinese restaurant.
When the Beast arrived at the Chinese restaurant, it was empty. There wasn't a single person on the first floor.
He raised an eyebrow and glanced at the second floor of the restaurant. The Beast said, "No need to hide anymore, I know you're in here."
The Beast's voice wasn't loud, but somehow, Matt and the others on the second floor could hear him.
"What exactly do you want?" Danny couldn't help but speak up.
"Me? What I want is very simple." Grinning, the Beast gazed at the second floor.
In the next moment, with a leap, a loud boom was heard, and a large hole appeared in the wall of the second floor. The Beast had appeared in front of Matt and the others. Patting off the dust and gravel on his body, the Beast saw the Defenders, who were looking back at him as if he was a mortal enemy. The Beast carelessly replied, "All I want is to kill you or be killed by you."

...
Watching the clones from a distance away, and watching them in person, was really a different experience.
Opposite the Beast, Ryan was in [Ip Man]'s form.
Seeing the scene in front of him, he couldn't help but sigh in his heart.
Moreover, the reputation points came much faster.
The amount of chakra in [Mizuki] was limited. That amount of chakra could only sustain two clones at most, so Ryan took the role of Ip Man himself in order to pull off the final showdown.
"Huh? There's another one?"
On this side, Ryan was busy thinking, but on the other side, he didn't relax his control over the Beast. Wesley was still quiet, but it wasn't too far off his persona, so it didn't catch the attention of Matt and the others. However, the Beast was different. As the big villain right now, he needed to do as much as possible to gain more reputation points from Matt and the others.
Fortunately, the clone, blessed by the system's card, was even more solid than a simple chakra clone.
There was no such thing as being distracted and disappearing.
Looking at Matt and others in front of him, the Beast immediately noticed Ip Man, played by Ryan, dressed in a Tang suit.
"Peng Lai's people?"
Noticing his very different costume, the Beast slightly frowned and asked.
"Ip Man, from Peng Lai."
When asked, Ryan immediately saluted with his fist, as it was Ip Man's standard gesture.
"Peng Lai only sent you here?" After observing Ryan aka Ip Man up and down, the Beast couldn't help but smile, "Are those old guys getting too confident? Or are they sending you here to die? "
"We don't know who's going to die here." In response, Ryan revealed a blazing expression of righteousness.
"You've got guts. I wonder if you'll have the same confidence when you're begging on your knees?" The Beast mocked.
However, before Ryan could answer, the Beast appeared in front of him in a flash. He raised both palms and viciously struck him.
"Watch out!"
Almost simultaneously, Matt, who had been paying attention to the Beast, spoke up and warned. But he was clearly still half a step behind.
Facing the attack from the Beast, Ryan lifted his hand and struck his opponent's elbows, forcing him to change his stance. Then with a powerful punch, he struck him in the chest.
Facing Ryan's successive attacks, the Beast also had to change his stance to fight him off.
In the eyes of Jessica and the others, it looked like Ip Man and the Beast were engaged in a showdown with equal strength. Their hands were turning into streaks of shadows. No one could tell which one of them had the upper hand.
