"Sir Beast, we've found Iron Fist and the others."
'So soon?'
Madame Gao's words surprised Ryan a bit. The Hand was a little quicker at finding people than he had expected.
Luckily, inside the Chinese restaurant, Ip Man had already joined up with Matt's group through the previous setup and through a connection with Danny.
Therefore, although the next appearance was hasty, it could be carried on so that the one-sided situation wouldn't happen again.
Thinking of that, Ryan manipulated the Beast and asked Madame Gao, "Oh, where are they?"
"In Chinatown, lower Manhattan's southern end." Madame Gao replied with her head down.
"Chinatown?"
Deliberately repeating the position Madame Gao had said, the Beast looked sideways at a docile old lady standing beside him. As the leader of the Hand and one of the masterminds who control the illegal drug trade in New York, he didn't think the other party was really as harmless as she appeared to be, but Ryan didn't care.
No matter what purpose Madame Gao hid under her docile appearance, it didn't matter to him.
The Beast, or to be exact, Ryan, only needed the Hand in Madame Gao's hand to achieve his own purpose, to gain points.
The Beast's gaze placed a huge amount of pressure on Madame Gao. Under the other party's gaze, she would subconsciously recall how the other leaders of the Hand had fallen. Some cold sweat dripped down her forehead.
Sensing Madame Gao's emotions, the Beast withdrew his gaze from Madame Gao and smiled with a casual expression, "Then, let's go visit them. We might as well solve all the little problems once and for all."
Sensing that he wasn't looking at her anymore, Madame Gao let out a sigh of relief and quickly bowed her head even lower, "I understand, Sir Beast. I'll go and make the arrangements."
...
"How did you all come to know about the Beast?"
"Ah Xing told us," Luke spoke up.
"Of course, that's definitely something Ah Xing would do." Upon hearing that, Ip Man shook his head and sighed.
"Master Ip, what kind of person is the Beast? " Hearing Ip Man's words, Matt was silent for a moment before asking even further.
'I was hoping you would ask.'
With a slight chuckle in his heart, Ip Man kept his stoic appearance and asked back, "What did Ah Xing tell you all? "
"He told us that the Beast had killed someone in Peng Lai and fled to a place called Villard in New York."
"I had someone look into it. Villard is actually a mental hospital located in the suburbs of New York." Danny informed them of what he knew.
"You mean... that guy is actually a psychopath?" Jessica raised one of her slender eyebrows. She then remembered what the Beast had done in the battle before and shrugged, "Well, that isn't really surprising."
'Seems like you guys know a lot...'
Looking at Matt and the others, Ryan was a bit surprised that he didn't need to explain much about the Beast. They all connected the dots by themselves, little by little.
However, for the important parts of the information, Ip Man still needed to make them up, no, supplement them.
"To be honest, he's not just someone who has killed in Peng Lai." When Ip Man spoke, these words instantly drew the attention of the Defenders. "The Beast had also stolen one of Peng Lai's Celestial Arts."
"Celestial Arts?!"
Ip Man's remark caused Matt and the others, who had heard Ah Xing describe Celestial Arts earlier, to change their expressions. Luke couldn't help but ask even furthest, "One of it? Is the one he got a dangerous one? What is it?"
"Buddha's Palm!"
Ip Man informed Matt's group with a heavy expression.

...
"Is this the so-called Chinatown?"
Behind the Beast, the Hand's ninjas poured into the Asian community's area, where red lanterns were decorating the streets.
The strange ninja costumes and the chilly atmosphere caused the businesses in Chinatown to close their doors.
The Beast looked around at the Chinatown scenery in front of him and wondered with a raised eyebrow, "It's just a sham."
"Naturally, Chinatown can't be compared to the real China, Sir Beast." Madame Gao spoke, in her hoarse voice, "But it is indeed a gathering place for many displaced people from China."
At these words, the Beast nodded and opened his mouth to say something further when a dusty soccer ball suddenly rolled to his feet.
"Grandpa, can you give me back the ball?"
A slightly immature voice sounded not far away.
"Sir, let me ..."
"No need." He raised his hand and stopped Madame Gao, who had volunteered. The Beast looked down at the ball at his feet and kicked it up into his hands with a slight tap of his foot.
Carrying the ball, he returned it back to the child.
"Thank you, Grandpa."
Reaching out, the child took the ball from the Beast and thanked him.
"You're welcome, little one." Raising his hand and stroking the child's head, the Beast asked with a smile, "By the way, kid, have you seen a few strange people showing up in Chinatown? "
"No." Shaking his head, the child looked up at the strange-looking man in front of him and curiously asked, "Is Grandpa looking for someone?"
"Yeah, they did something that made Grandpa angry. Grandpa is looking for them now, and I'm going to teach them a lesson."
Touching the child's head, the Beast spoke softly.
"I'm sure you'll find them, Grandpa."
"Haha, I think so, too. By the way, kid, you should behave yourself and stay at home. It's going to be dangerous outside later on."
Grinning wide, the Beast raised his hand and pinched the child's chubby little cheeks with a carefree look.
At that moment, the Beast glanced up and saw one of the Hand's ninjas jump down from a roof. The guy ran up to Madame Gao's side. She nodded back at him.
"Sir, we've found them. They're inside the restaurant up ahead."
Madame Gao informed the Beast.
Nodding his head, the Beast patted the child's head and turned toward the place Madame Gao was pointing at.
Behind them, a tightly closed door opened up, and from it, a mother sprang up to hastily pull the young boy with a dazed expression closer to the house.
