Three years have passed since the incident at the invasion. Kamesh still can't forgive himself for what he did. And then a loud explosion could be heard.

"What the hell, an explosion?"

Kamesh quickly sat up from the rock he was resting on, and sprinted towards the noise. When he got there, he saw two female adventurers. Both wearing, black robes that went down to their knees, white gloves, swift boots and knee high black socks. And a dragon, Kamesh was astounded that they only sent two adventurers to kill it, but what surprised him more, was the fact he knew the two adventurers.

Kamesh walked out from the shadows, he wore a spikey shoulder guard on his right with leather gloves. A scarf covering his mouth, dragon tooth plated chest piece. And leather leggings, with only a glove on his left arm, and under the armor was a torn up hoody. Now his right eye was a glowing red, while his left was a bright blue.

"Y'all must be powerful wizards if they only sent two of you to defeat a dragon."

"Sir stay back!"

The dragon shoots a quick fireball at Kamesh, but he easily deflects it. The dragon roars, Kamesh's right fist starts glowing, and a bright blue fire engulfs his fist.

"The first dragon of the week."

"Did he just say the first?"

"Yes Dawn, he did."

"I knew it, it is you two!'

Kamesh quickly steps up to the dragon's face and punches it. A loud cracking noise could be heard, the dragon's skull had shattered, and the flame Kamesh created shot straight through its head. Dawn and Lucia were dumbfounded by what they had just witnessed. Kamesh starts to harvest the body of the dragon.

"Hey!"

"Oh, are you supposed to get the materials too, sorry."

"No, remove your scarf."

Kamesh unravels his scarf. As the girls watched, they stood there in awe. The girls immediately knew who they were talking to.

"Kamesh?"

"Wassup! Missed me?"

Lucia runs and hugs Kamesh, gripping him tighter each second.

"Woah, did y'all really miss me that much? We only knew each other for a day."

"Lady Rya told us your story, and wow."

"Really Dawn, that's it? Wow?"

"Shut up you dumbass, you left without saying anything!"

"Well I guess I'll go back to the city too."

The girls'faces light up in excitement. After getting the parts of the dragon they needed, they started heading back to the city.

"Hey Kamesh."

"Yeah?"

"How'd your eye change colors?"

"It's a Dragon's Tear."

"What!? Dragon Tears only form when a tier six or higher dragon dies! Did you kill one?"

"Actually, it was a tier nine dragon."

"Wow Kamesh, you're amazing!"

"Thanks Lucia! Let's hurry, it'll get dark soon."

The group swiftly gets back to the city, and after dropping off the materials for the guild. They go to Rya's house. When they enter, Rya doesn't mind the two girls, but when the "mysterious" man walks in, she leaps up to him. Grabbing a knife, and putting it up against his throat.

"Who are you!"

"Chill down Rya, it's your beloved student."

"Kamesh?"

Smack, Kamesh gets a palm straight to the face.

"Oh Kamesh! I'm so glad you're back!"

"Doesn't seem like it, you just slapped me."

Rya grabs Kamesh, she sits him down at the table and takes his armor off.

"You must be so hungry! Here, let me make you something."

"Sheesh, I thought that was gonna go in a different direction. If you know what I mean."

"Shut up Kamesh."

Kamesh had a slightly annoyed face when she said that.

"Well Dawn, you haven't changed that much. Neither have you Lucia, but that's good. But it ain't good for Dawn, because if she stays rude she won't find any lovers."

Kamesh is laughing and wheezing because of his joke. Dawn walks up behind him and slaps him in the back of the head.

"Ow you bi-"

Kamesh collapses to the floor for no apparent reason.

"Huh, Kamesh!"

Sixteen hours later, Kamesh wakes up in the room he slept in while living with Rya. And the image he was seeing was awesome, too him at least. He was half naked, with only shorts on, and Lucia laying her head on his thighs.

"What the hell?"

"So you're awake."

"Holy shit bro! Don't startle me like that. Also why's she on me?"

"She was worried about you, and also might be slightly drunk."

"Oh ok."

Kamesh slowly gets off of the bed, he then picks up Lucia princess style. And lays her in the bed, Kamesh thought about why she was so worried about him. But he just shrugs it off. She's a nice person, of course she would be worried about a friend.

"A friend?"

"What'd you just say?"

"Nothing."

It was ten am, Kamesh walked down the stairs to get some water. But then remembers that he knows water magic, so he just sprays a stream of water into his mouth. Dawn runs up behind him and hugs him.

"I'm glad you're back too."

"Yeah, happy to see you too. Now get off me!"

"Fine!"

Kamesh goes back up the stairs to change into his armor. Whilst he is changing, Lucia wakes up.

"Hey Lucia!"

"Ah! Oh, it's you. Hi, where are you going?"

"To the guild, imma do some quests to earn some money and to level up."

"Oh ok, then let me go too."

"If you go, I'll have to make the quest level at least an A rank."

"I don't care, I wanna go!"

"Ok fine, you can come, get ready then."

Both Kamesh and Lucia change into their armor and go to the guild.

"Actually, can you train me?"

"Well I mean sure, if you want."

"Yay! When do we start?"

"Why not today?"

"Ok!"

"First, I'll see how strong you are. C'mon, we need to go to a secluded area."

Kamesh opens a portal to what seems like a plateau. The two of them walk through the portal, and are transported to a desert in the Fern Kingdom.

"I thought spacial magic only worked on places you've been to before."

"Indeed, that is correct. While I was away, I traveled through all eight countries on the continent. And this was the best place for training."

"So what do I do? Do I fire at another peak or something?"

"No, you'll be firing at me."

"What! Yes, I've always wanted to hit you!"

"What the hell!? Why?"

"You've always been rude to my sister, and no one is more special to me than my family."

"Well ok, c'mon. Hit me with your most powerful spell!"

Lucia started to charge a singularity blast, but then Kamesh ran up to her and put a katana to her throat, drawing a little bit of blood.

"Too slow. If you and I were in a real fight to the death, you would've been dead before you even thought of using a singularity blast."

"Woah, you're so cool!"

"Don't care. Now first, you'll need to learn to control your mana and condense it around your body. Just like a skin tight layer of mana, but it protects you from outside threats."

"Oh ok."

Lucia already knew how to do that, but couldn't do it for long.

"The final goal is for ten hours of that, but by your level, lets reach for two hours max. Sounds good to you?"

"Yeah!"

At first, Lucia could only hold it for fifteen minutes. But at the end of the day, she could hold it for twenty-three minutes.

"Nice job! Oh jeez, you're sweaty, c'mon let's go back."

Kamesh opened a portal inside Rya's home and they walked through it.

"That was so hard!"

"Don't start complaining now, you wanted to do it."

Rya was stunned by the words she just heard, "what were they doing?" she thought to herself. But she just brushed it off, maybe it was just a difficult quest.

And then a loud thud could be heard from upstairs. Rya ran up to see what had happened, when she got up there. Kamesh was lying against the wall, with a blade straight through him, from his right shoulder, to his chest. But Lucia was nowhere to be seen, and neither was Dawn.

"Damnit, the people, they got aw-"

"Oh my god, hold on imma heal you."
