A day to the engagement, I made preparations for my escape. I will not allow Father do this to me. The entire kingdom was excited about the engagement unlike the bride herself and Jade. I felt much better- health wise. Javan visited regularly. We were getting along quite well however, my heart belonged to someone else. He turned out to be a really cool guy. When father came by, I wanted to tell him about 'my Love' but kept the cat in the bag. I went to bed early because the medicines I had taken were weakening me.
At dawn, I took my backpack and set out to find 'my Love'. Since I knew my way around the Kingdom it was easy sneaking out. I headed straight for the mountain using my newly invented motorbike. I rode fast up the mountain even though I was feeling horrified and sad. I redirected the course of my emotions and focused my attention on the victory that lay ahead, that was meeting ' my Love'. The sun rose as I approached the peak of Mount Zangula. I stopped, turned around and admired Zangula one more time then continued my journey. Descending the mountain was easy and fast. It was very fun. I travelled down a path I had never tread.
I journeyed to the unknown in search of 'my Love', my hero. I kept riding then came across a white building in fact white buildings. I wondered how each family would identify their home, well, it was not mine to worry about. I stopped by a stream to drink water. After drinking to my fill, I stood only to realize that my motorbike was gone; it had been stolen. Just like that, fortunately, I had all my valuables in my bag. I was unhappy about the incident but I did not have the luxury of time to search for my bike. I crossed the river safely though the bridge was teetery. After walking for miles, I stopped to eat some of my supplies. 'Mmm' I was ravenously peckish. I already missed the good cooking of Zangula.
I kept walking until sunset and took shade in a cave. I fell into a deep sleep and dreamt. Let's zoom into cloud Cuckoo land guys. I wore a wine gown, my diamond necklace and matching heels. I was ushered into a luxurious chariot which had white horses. The chariot was very comfortable. The voyage was long but untiring. I had no idea of my destination but went without any hesitation. There was an abundance of supplies for a good ride. The sunset rose several times. Our journey may have taken close to forty days and forty nights. I eventually lost count. We stopped by green pasture for the horses to graze and recuperate their lost energy. I stepped out to stretch a bit and the view was breathtaking.
I spotted an intriguing animal which led me deep into the woods until I lost track of the chariots; however, I felt no urge to return. Curiosity indeed kills the cat. Now I was completely lost in the woods and petrified. I was stopped in my tracks by a roar which emanated from a wild cat. I had never seen such an animal in my entire life. It was huge, black and orange in color. I froze at the sight. It took slow steps towards me and just when it was about to devour me I woke up.
I was all wet and extremely scared. I held unto my diamond necklace and reassured myself that my mission would be a success. I rose quickly, ate something and continued my journey. I decided to take one step at a time and before dusk I found an unoccupied cottage and rested hoping to have a good dream this time. Into cloud Cuckoo land we go again. My dream began with a chase but this time around I wore a turquoise Kris cape jam suite with black sneakers. Hot right? Alright back to the main thing. I was back in Zangula taking my regular tech lessons and suddenly heard a loud noise which sent me running. Ask me were I was heading and from whom, goodness. I was running to wherever my legs would take me. When I got to the bottom of Mount Zangula I stopped to scrutinize the situation. A grand spaceship had crushed into the Zangula tech school, there was chaos, fire and dread everywhere. I ran back to find father and my siblings but they were all scattered or perhaps I was the only missing one. I stood devastated looking at the destruction of my beautiful school. My heart sank and I was awakened by a tickle down my neck. I screamed and jumped, picking up my belongings quickly only to realize that it was just a spider. At this point, I began reconsidering my decision. I was in a dilemma and did not know whether to return home or keep going. Sigh!
I ate some food and walked a mile where I came by a clean river. I took a bath and after getting dressed continued the journey in search of 'my Love'. After walking three more miles, I sat under a fig tree to take a nap, for my legs were giving up. I rested for long hours and basically woke up the next day. I literally slept for close to twenty- four hours. Oh my goodness! How is this even possible? I walked on, hoping to come across a stream or river so I could freshen up. Fortunately, I came across a waterfall and had a lot of fun bathing. I could not help but scream and dance in this clean and refreshing water. Oh my goodness, I was so happy and grateful.
After having so much fun with the waterfall, I was playful, careless and in high spirits. I spotted two beautiful orange and black colored butterflies and chased after them. It was useless because I could not catch any. Butterflies are like happiness as Mother used to say, if you chase them they would move further. Sigh! I sat under a mango tree to catch my breath and surprisingly a lot of butterflies came around. One of them even stood on my hand. I could not stop grinning until I felt a sharp pain in my forearm. I groaned in pain. It felt like an injection and caused me to sleep. Next thing I woke up tired to a chair. I wish I had never left Zangula.
