I woke up with a mild headache, thankfully. I was scared but still hopeful that I would be rescued by a good samaritan. Goodness Ndale, what to do? I quickly scanned my environment, which was not so friendly and made a plan for my escape. I cannot allow any obstacle keep me from achieving my goal. After about fives minutes, two guys walked in with food and untaped my mouth. They were both dressed in black hoodies and wore hideous masks. I closed my eyes for I could not stand the sight, however, I mastered courage and made a request. There is indeed no courage without fear. I asked them to move me closer to the table, away from the window, with the excuse that I was cold. It worked, great! The table was metallic and had sharp edges. Patience is a key to success indeed. After my abductors had exited the room, I quickly cut the rope. This was possible because the surface area of the table was small, this allowed the pointed edges to penetrate and cut the rope; and friction between the edge of the table and the rope caused wear and tear. I untied the ropes from my feet and runout without thinking, screaming happily. I even did my happy dance and caught the attention of my captors. How could I be so foolish?
Screwed. I ran as fast as I could but they eventually caught up with me. I struggled to free myself from their grip but I was helpless. One of my captors even slapped me. This time around they used chains. I pulled away hoping to break free from them but it was useless. I finally settled and readjusted myself to accept this as my fate. They promised to punish me severely without even the tiniest bit of mercy for trying to escape and giving them a hard time. Several days passed by and I gradually adapted to my new environment. All I was required to do was to eat, drink, dance and sleep. I was to dance to entertain them, I had to dance to their music. Dancing to their music made me frail however, I always looked up to dancing for them. Mother taught me that to be happy one ought to be content. I cried every night and regretted my decision to leave Zangula. I should have just obeyed my father. I now believe the Zangulan myth that 'anyone who left the kingdom, died'. I obeyed my new lords and did everything they told me to. I was depressed and hopeless. My plight was their delight. Fortunately, my diamond necklace was not taking away from me.
The day of my greatest fear was finally here, unfortunately. The two guys came in late that night, woke me up harshly, forced me to dance and walked me to the punishment cell as they had promised; I was beyond the word weak and pleaded for mercy but they did not listen. My heart was literally popping out of my chest. As we walked, I kept hoping against hope that 'my Love' would save me. And just at the entrance of the cell, one of my captors was shot by an arrow and dropped dead instantly. The other guy pushed my soaring self hard to the ground and left to fight with an enemy I guess. After a long, hard fight, my other captor was killed. I was happy and sad at the same time. It was 'my love', my Hero. He broke the chains and set me free. He took off my tattered garment and clothe me with a new, soft and beautiful dress. Tears of joy and relief streamed down my flattened cheeks. All my wounds and pain just disappeared into thin air after his affectionate kiss on my forehead. We rode on a colt into a beautiful town where we were warmly welcomed with palm branches, singing and dancing. I was elated. I had never felt such peace before this moment.
After dining with him, I had enough strength to think of all the questions I had been waiting to ask him for years. I hugged him tightly and did not want to let go but eventually did.
Ndale: Thank you.
my Love: It was a pleasure. I love you and care so much about you.
Ndale: Please may I ask you a question?
my Love: Questions, you mean?
I blushed; He could read my mind, so cool.
Ndale: What is your name 'my Love'?
my Love: Who do you say I am?
Ndale: You are 'my Love'.
He kissed my forehead.
my Love: Dearest, you did well coming to look for me.
Ndale: I could not stop thinking about you and see I took good care of the gift you gave me.
my Love: Well done! However, I desire obedience over sacrifice. Your father commanded you to marry Hoshama Javan.
Ndle: How did you get to know?
my Love : I know all things. I have always been with you and will always be with you. I will never leave you nor forsake you.
Ndale : But my heart belongs to you alone and I cannot be with someone I do not know, much less love - Javan.
my Love: My precious one, you were made for each other, just give him a chance.
Ndale: Seriously! My Love you are my only love.
my Love: Yes and I am always in your beautiful heart. Javan is not as bad as you think. May your eyes see the best in others and may your heart love unconditionally. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. I am your Heavenly Father, your Mother, your Friend, your Savior, your Counselor, your Comforter and your Healer. I was killed so that you would have life eternal. You are mine and I care a whole lot about you. My plans for you are to give you a future and a hope. Go back home and tell them what you have seen and heard. Obey your Father, Javan will love you as much as I love you.
Ndale : What is love?
my Love: Love is patient, love is kind. Love does not envy, is not boastful, is not conceited, does not act improperly, is not selfish, is not provoked and keeps no record of wrongs. Love finds no joy in unrighteousness but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things and endures all things. Love never ends.
Ndale : Wow! You are so wise. Please don't send me back, I want to stay with you. My Lord, please, I have a lot to learn.
my Love: They need you. Leah has been praying for you. Go home and be the blessing you are. Obedience brings success. I will be with you till the end of time. Whenever you need help just call on me and I will answer you.
He wiped my tears and kissed me.
Ndale: Please let me know your name.
my Love: I am 'Yeshua Hamashia',Yah, Yahweh, the Great One, the One who sits upon the throne. My name is Jesus.
I fell face down and worshiped Him along with the angels. We cried '' Holy, holy is the Lord GOD of host" I danced and danced for my heart was glad, dancing to this music made me feel strengthened and refreshed. I was very grateful. My heart was overwhelmed with joy.
