Saying goodbye.

Days passed by. The group had to train with their new weapons and abilities, as well as increase their levels, because they knew as soon as they were done in the demon territory, they would be leaving the Daemon Continent. Every one of the disciples and their aides were now at peak red rank due to the insane amount of energy they had built up from holding back. Tenebrea was also establishing a new ruler for the vampires, as she had a feeling she might not be back in a while.

She wanted Vlad and Anastasia to leave with her, but Vlad chose to stay back and ensure the continuity of the vampire line. It was very obvious to everyone, but it seemed like Vladimir and Anastasia were involved romantically because she also chose to stay.

"My queen, it's been an honor serving you, but I feel the places you are going, I will be a hindrance, so I am going to stay back with Vlad" Anastasia knelt before Tenebrea, who was planning on leaving soon.

Tenebrea smiled as she stood Anastasia on her knees and gave her a massive hug.

"You've grown, Ana. You too, Vlad."

"AS FROM NOW ON, THE NEW RULERS OF WALLACHIA ARE THE DRACULA 'VLADIMIR' AND THE BLOOD ROSE 'ANASTASIA'. THIS IS MY DECREE" Tenebrea's voice resounded all around the kingdom. The residents, merchants, and even the new additions to the alliance all looked around in surprise, as they never expected the sovereign would just pass power to her two loyal aides, but no one dared protest because Anastasia alone was enough to sweep through the Daemon continent unhindered, talk less of both her and Vlad.

Vlad had a smile on his face as he heard the decree; he knew his queen would do something like that, while Anastasia was a bit befuddled, her mouth agape.

"My queen, I don't need to rule. I am not fit."

"Enough with the whole 'my queen' thing. You are now queen, Ana. I trust you enough to know that the vampires will be safe in your hands. Also watch Vlad to ensure that he doesn't cause trouble."

Anastasia smiled and nodded. After the announcement of Tenebrea, a crowning ceremony was scheduled for three days. Several races sent gifts, especially the ones in the alliance.

Several days passed, and finally, the day of the crowning had arrived, and the guests were all in the banquet hall. It currently housed thousands of people of different races and their ambassadors. The barbarians came in bulk and were relating with other vampires alongside Julius; the dark pixies and fallen were also there. It was an assortment of the strongest and weakest races on the Daemon continent. The demons did not show, though, and that was to be expected. There were rumors that they were currently undergoing a revolution within themselves.

The crowning began, and Tenebrea stood before everyone on a tall building. All the participants stared at Vlad and Ana, who came out in regal robes. Vladimir exuded an extensive kingly aura, while Anastasia had more of a homely queen vibe.

They kneeled before Tenebrea as she crowned both of them as the new rulers. Everyone cheered for their new king and queen. Licht and the others stood among the crowd with smiles on their faces. The celebration swiftly began, and everyone began to relate to one another because it would be a really long time till something brought powerful races like this together again.

Tenebrea was nowhere to be found. Anastasia looked at the sky and smiled. "Be safe, Mother."

Licht was seated with Tenebrea, Gayatri, and Frances on Amphy, who was currently in her combat flight mode with her black scales protruding; it also gave her a more streamlined look, so flight was faster. Midas sat on Pride alongside Regallas, Daren, the twins, and Scarlet; surprisingly, Fenrir was also flying in the air with Sloane, Julius, and a little piglet like Maverick; Talia was the only one flying without a mount.

Fenrir had eaten a Blitzhawk and grown giant wings that could be retracted. The group had thought that Fenir would no longer gain the abilities of other creatures, but they were wrong. They still didn't know how it happened; even Licht was stumped.

They flew for a couple of hours and arrived at the border of the demon clan. A sleeping man opened his eyes as soon as the group passed the border. He laughed and jumped around, dancing. It was quite a sight to see someone so old move like that.

"He has arrived. Hahahaha, Pride, Envy, and Greed, if only you all had been lazy like me, we would have welcomed him together." A gate opened in front of the old man as he wobbled through it. The same gate opened in front of the group. Amphy, Fenrir, and Maverick went forward to protect the people behind them while everyone unsheathed their weapons and looked at the unfamiliar goblin-like old man that sauntered out the gate.

Licht smiled and said, "It's fine. He doesn't want to harm us, and if he did, it'd be very hard to stop him."

The man knelt down in front of Licht and said, "My lord, welcome back. I have waited for your return."

The group looked at this old man, who looked like he'd drop dead anytime soon. His wrinkles folded so much that they covered his eyes; they wondered how he could see where he was walking.

"Sloth, you look good for a man your age. Since I only see you, I guess the others are dead?" Licht smiled as he asked the old man.

"Pride, Wrath, envy, and Greed died because they did not feel at ease resting like I do. So they kept up physical activities, further draining their lifespan, while Lust and Gluttony indulged in other activities like debauchery and food, as expected, but they still died a few centuries ago. I am the last of the sins, my lord. I chose to stay hibernating because I knew you would return."

The group heard the old man speak and knew that this was one of the demon king's generals.

"I see your lifespan has reached its final destination, but you still held on because of me. No wonder the demons are not in order, but it doesn't matter. I commend you, Sloth. I wish we would have met earlier so we would not part this way," Licht said with a sad expression.

"I am just happy I gazed upon your magnificent figure before I left this world, my lord."

"Licht. You have earned the right to call me by my name, so call me Licht."

Sloth's eyes widened in excitement. "Thank you, Licht."

"Rest well, Andes."

Sloth, who was sitting down during the entire conversation with Licht, slumped and started to dematerialize. As of now, all the demon generals that once held the Daemon continent in fear no longer exist.

Licht stood up and looked at the clan.

"I might as well help Andes to clean up before leaving."
