The Dead Mutant's careless remark angered the young werewolf, pushing him to kill it from where it stood. Furiously, Dezhong began to growl with his claws itching to dig into flesh and draw blood.

Taking one step forward, the black-furred werewolf fell into his own shadow, initiating a sequence of attacks. While disappearing into one end of a portal, another appeared behind the Dead Mutant, with claws striking its back and head.

Before the creature could retaliate, the werewolf already vanished and reappeared this time on its left side.

Disappear and reappear.

That was the tactic Dezhong used to get the jump on the Dead Mutant. The longer he did so, the faster the sequence played out and eventually, Dezhong gained the upper hand.
