Go for Broke!

Lilu emptied her mana crystals in both Alpha and Omega. When then others saw her doing this, those that could cast also began to empty their mana reserves into the mouth of the rift.

Lilu reloaded and then continued to fire, alternating shots and sending masses of spells of all shapes and sizes into the horde of Insectoids storming the rift.

As the large obstruction of the behemoth insectoid was blown away, the sight through the rift could be seen. One of the girl casters saw this and screamed at the top of her lungs. Her hands began to move frantically sending skewed spells at the rift.

Lilu shouted behind herself "DON'T PANIC!!!!!"

Kobolds were rushing to the mouth of the rift, spears and swords flailing non stop at the insectoids who managed to breach the line.

Spells all colors of the rainbow were raining down into the rift. This continued for quite a while. The spells began to slow down.
