“Hurry!” A Slayer attempted to shout over the sounds of thunderous footsteps and the rumbling bellow of a Monster. “Get to the bell tower!” 


Demkil started off as a small country, but over the centuries, it had obviously grown much larger. As a result, it took more effort and time to respond to Supernatural Incidents, especially when they took place further from Demkil’s main citadel. Therefore, a system of bell towers was set up to when a bell was rung to signal danger, the sound would reach the next nearest bell tower, alerting the watchman there to ring that bell, and eventually, like a domino effect, the warning would reach the main citadel, where the King could dispatch more knights to aid in resolving the incident before the source of the danger could get any closer to the capital. Of course, in the meantime, the smaller towns and villages far from the capital would suffer the most damage from any Monster’s attacks.
