“What’s up Jack? You seem sad” Jerry asked with a worried look which really looked cute on him and successfully washed away all of Jack’s sorrow.

“Hmm, sorry, am just reminiscing some good memories back in the days” Jack said while beckoning to Jerry to come, as Jerry took his hand he was spooned into Jack’s arms in a firm hug.

“Don’t talk like an old man Jack and explain” Jerry whined.

“Well, sorry” Jack chuckled nervously while caressing his back.

“What happened?” Jerry asked curiously.

“Last three years, we had fun on a beach as a family” Jack said.

“Huh” Jerry muttered, his interest piqued, ever since he lost his memories he realized how everybody in the Johnsons family seem to avoid talking abut the past, although he was curious, there was something about how they bore themselves that screamed that mentioning the past wasn’t really advisable neither would it be a good thing.

He sometimes avoided going back home during holidays with Jack due to the atmosphere there, it was only filled with a suffocating silence during dinner, Mrs. Elen was almost always away, the siblings had cold relationships with each other and him as an amnesic idiot didn’t even fit in anywhere.

Being at home was always like that, he could only hang out with Jack and Jean, mostly Jack while the rest of the siblings were barely seen, even if they were seen their presence was rather suffocating with their calmness that wasn’t of their age, Jerry always thought that each of them had burdens they were carrying which he confirmed after finding out that all of them except Jean and Jack who rejected severely where taking therapy.

The worst out of all of them was Jessica and Jason, which seemed to avoid him like a plague, he had that it was because he had risked his life and save them that they were feeling rather guilty for his condition and was avoiding him.

Jerry had always wondered that maybe if he got his memory back then maybe…maybe everything would somehow be alright? He did hope so, he was just so fucking confused and irritated due to the fact his memories won’t return! Please let me see, even if it’s a glance…!

He snapped out of his self-desecration when Jack tightened his hold before looking down at him worriedly, was he making ‘that’ expression again? He hoped not, smiling softly at Jack to encourage him to continue.

Jack sighed, he hoped Jerry wasn’t doing ‘that’ to himself again, convincing himself that he was the reason his family fell apart, because he didn’t have his memories. His eyes were always clouded with grief, self-blame, guilt whenever he did this, all the emotions he, Jack, never wanted him to feel.

It wasn’t his fault the Johnsons fell to this level in their familiar relationships, somethings were just inevitable, after what Johnson had did it was obvious that the kids who loved him so dearly would feel heartbroken and shattered.

Plus the fact that Elen had to handle many affairs she had never done before alone, it wasn’t really surprising that she barely had anytime for them which led to the younger ones’ cases who needed familiar affection and not therapy to worsen.

He and Jean were another group that could help them but the former wasn’t really into it and the latter also needed therapy whilst Jerry who would have being another help lost his memories and was rather awkward with the kids, all this kinda just made the entire situation blow up to the extent it did, it was a total mess.

“Jennifer had a competition with Jason, that dumbo and won effortlessly, I remember everyone had been cheering at Jennifer and Jason ended up complaining that he lost due to no one motivating him….” Jack continued with his story.

“And?”

“So they redid it with everyone hailing Jason and….he failed even more miserably” Jack said with a chuckle.

“They seemed to be really happy then, its despairing that they’re now in this situation….i wish I could do something” Jerry muttered sadly.

“It’s not your fault! Don’t stretch it, I tell you this, let’s have fun for today and during our free time since we’re finally graduating, let’s try to get closer and help those kids hm?” Jack said with a smile before he suddenly picked Jerry up in a princess-carry to his stun and threw him into the sea.

“Hey! Wha-ah~…” Jerry protest got drowned into a muffled moan as Jack dragged him inside the sea to kiss the heck out of him, since there were too much eyes, this was the only way to hide and since Jerry was a pure and him just fucking tenacious, staying for long without breathing was pretty cool for them.

Under the sea was the beautiful imagery of two lovers embracing themselves together, the shades of blue of the sea coloring the white hair of the other that floated fluidly like a lovely marine creature entangling unconsciously with the now green-blue hair of the other as they both indulged themselves towards the fiery cold of passion within the sea.

It was indeed a beautiful sight but as we all know- pretty things never last long.

“You said that you’d answer today!” Rita shouted to Jean with an extremely flustered face.

“Hmm, I seem to have?” Jean teased with a smirk.

“Jean! D-do you perhaps hate me now?” Rita asked, her head lowered down nervously, she really hoped her bestie wouldn’t hate her or be put off by her after what she did.

“Funny, of course not Ri….” Jean was cut off by a heavy cry of an animal, the cry made the floor tremble and Rita was caught by Jean before she could fall down.

Looking up in confusion, their faces changed simultaneously showing the same paleness and dread shown on everyone’s face when they saw the creature in front of them, some almost fainted from the shock.

After all what they saw was beyond all logicality and any scientific knowledge, with its hovering and oppressive force over all….

It was a SEA MONSTER.
