Chapter 180 : Capture Essence?

Observing Kazuhiko contemplating silently, the lively slug buzzed back after hearing his words a while ago.

"Kazuhiko-sama, from my perspective, you and the natural energy are continuously merging, influencing each other all the time."

"The natural energies envelop you like your closest companions, as if they enjoy your essence."

Kazuhiko nodded in agreement, understanding why he stood out so clearly in the eyes of the lively slug.

Perhaps, to the slug, people and natural energy were once distinctly separate entities.

Even if some individuals could sense natural energy, their connection was usually superficial.

However, the present Kazuhiko was different; he was surrounded by the entirety of natural energy, with everything around him converging upon him as the focal point.

An analogy might be comparing it to ordinary believers and gods.

Believers and gods typically maintained a clear distinction, even if some fervent believers had occasional interactions.

The gods might offer occasional care and encouragement to such believers, but they remained distinct entities.

Yet, Kazuhiko's situation was reversed. The gods, in this case, surrounded him, unwilling to leave his side, seeking a few words from him every day.

The dynamics had completely shifted, creating a magical spectacle in the eyes of the lively slug.

After answering Kazuhiko's inquiry, Katsuyu couldn't help but ask further.

"Kazuhiko-sama, how did you achieve this? I have never witnessed such an existence in thousands of years..."

Upon hearing Katsuyu's words, Kazuhiko pondered for a moment. Considering Katsuyu's consistent support, he decided to share.

"On the first two nights, I suddenly felt as though the world was watching me, and my perception of natural energy significantly heightened. I don't know why."

Kazuhiko explained briefly, but the lively slug seemed to latch onto something in her mind. She muttered to herself, "Being watched by the world...the world...watching...perception enhancement..."

Repeatedly contemplating the meaning of Kazuhiko's words, she eventually seemed to grasp something.

"Is it true?" The lively slug looked at Kazuhiko and softly questioned him. "Kazuhiko-sama, let's return to my main body. My main body is better at pondering such complex matters."

"Alright, let's go." Kazuhiko agreed, following the lively slug as they proceeded.

After a while, Kazuhiko spotted a colossal figure in the distance that obscured the sky and sun.

Upon first glance, it appeared as if a colossal mountain stood in the sky.

As Kazuhiko ventured a bit closer, the sight, despite being anticipated, still left him awestruck.

The amazement lingered in his heart, "It's colossal! It's terrifying! Fortunately, this terrifying being is my summoned creature!

This realization filled Kazuhiko's heart with joy.

Observing its own form, the diminutive living cockroach moved forward in two steps, seamlessly merging into the enormous body like cream.

At that moment, the primary consciousness instantly established communication with Kazuhiko.

The two tendrils of the massive living slug swayed gently, akin to someone nodding while deep in thought. Yet, even this subtle motion could induce a whirlwind around the colossal living scorpion body.

Finally, as if recalling something, the two tendrils of the living slug twitched, and it gazed at Kazuhiko with delight.

"Kazuhiko-sama, I've remembered!

Kazuhiko was equally surprised; could it be that the creature genuinely recalled something?

"What is it?

The soft voice of the slug resonated through the Shikkotsu forest.

"Kazuhiko-sama, a long time ago, I came across an ancient text that mentioned the world occasionally directing its attention towards certain unique intelligent beings."

"When the world focuses on an individual, it signifies that this intelligent life possesses an unimaginable future and may profoundly influence the world's destiny."

"Consequently, the world acknowledges their existence, and once noticed, the vital natural energy, a manifestation of this world, naturally favors these intelligent beings."

With this revelation, the living cockroach gently bent down, seemingly acknowledging Kazuhiko before it.

An entity recognized by the world itself is a rare occurrence spanning thousands of years. Even with numerous such instances, encountering one by chance, especially by a living slug, remains highly improbable. The curiosity she felt at this moment was exceptional.

"Sir Kazuhiko is truly extraordinary!

"Even the world has acknowledged your existence; your future must be unimaginable!

As if displeased with its size, the living slug quickly shrank, transforming into a small form that climbed rapidly to Kazuhiko's feet.

"Kazuhiko-sama, place me on your shoulders," the tiny living creature, resembling a kitten, requested, its voice soft yet akin to that of a caring elder sister.

Kazuhiko grinned, tilting his head as he gently placed the small, live scorpion on his shoulder.

The tiny scorpion extended its two delicate pincers, swaying rhythmically on Kazuhiko's shoulder.

"Kazuhiko-sama, I wish to capture your essence; your existence is truly extraordinary, after all."
