SEASON 1 – Epilogue

"Who is that?" I ask to Psyand, after looking at the person Scelesthe is lifting, as I get down of the van.

"He attacked me," Psyand says.

"What? Like… a police officer kind?" Wrap asks, from inside the van.

"No… he is a powered-individual… like me," Psyand says. "I knocked him out… I have some special news too, when we go back."

"That you knocked out a older powered-individual? Yeah, that part is obvious, Psyand," Scelesthe says, and then turns to Rusk. "You still didn't answer."

The question… Scelesthe just found Rusk outside the building, standing there quietly, for some reason.

"I just… was there. What is so weird?" Rusk says.

"You being silent all this time was weird," Wrap and Scelesthe say.

We get into the van, and show Witch and Thunder's condition to O.

"I haven't exactly used these powers on others before but…" O says, and runs her left-hand, covered with a pearly gauntlet, over Witch. "Which one of you is Max?"

"I'm his successor," Rusk says. "Rusk."

"So you were the one who contacted," O says.

"I didn't know it was communication, just thought I could just… see your story," Rusk says.

"Yeah, we dragons are weird this way, I learnt."

"We dragons?" Psyand asks.

"Yeah…" O says. "Rusk and me."

"I am a dragon guys," Rusk sighs.

"Well, am I surprised," Scelesthe says.

"Wait, seriously? You can turn into those big things?" Wrap asks, excitedly.

Come to think of it, he hadn't done that yet: turning into his dragon form.

Witch slowly opens her eyes, and scans us.

"Are you O?" Witch asks.

"Yes."

"Thank you. I feel-" Witch tries to lift her body, but goes back down.

"Oh…" O says, and moves her hand away, and Witch is able to move again. "You look like you are hurt more than that. But at least you are conscious, so let me just," she points at Thunder and moves her hand at him.

"Careful," I say to O.

But O just casually radiates some aura over Thunder's head.

"He seems to be very tired," O says. "Way too much actually. But he will be fine."

"Oh… that's a relief," I say.

As Thunder wakes up too, and seems to be fine, and O continues healing Witch, I start the van, and we set off to the hotel again.

"-yeah, and not a lot of people would come even when seeing a hole in the walls, because they'll think it is that dream-core monster," O says.

"Yeah, it was very scary," Psyand says.

"But you broke a wall?" Scelesthe asks.

"You broke a wall?" Witch asks.

"I'm just glad that I could rest through all of that," Thunder says.

"Are you-"

"-he's awake," Psyand says, moving in the back, but the guy still seems to be sleeping, when I check through the mirror.

"No he is not…" Scelesthe says.

"No… you guys can't see him, like you guys can't see my projected hand," Psyand says, while stretching her hand forward.

Scelesthe quickly grabs the sleeping person by his neck. "Still must be his body?"

"He is raising his hands," Psyand says.

"Are you maybe making it up?" Witch asks.

"He is staring at you," Psyand says. "He shakes his head as a no, and waves his hands."

"He can't talk?" Witch asks.

"Well, not in that form, we can't hear him. Only when he is back in the body… And he nods."

"Then ask him to come back," Scelesthe says.

"He says… sleep. That body is asleep."

"Ask him to write things down then. Somebody find a pen and book-" and as I say, Wrap hands over a tiny book and a tiny pen, and I watch it float in air.

Right, we found these in the van. But why had Wrap pocketed them?

"Hello Morph, I'm God Mode. It is nice to finally meet you, outside of your dreams," Scelesthe reads out. "I didn't expect to see you here. Will greet you all soon, please don't kill me."

And the book falls down, with the pen.

"He went back," Psyand says.

"He… are you maybe writing that on your own?" Witch asks, snapping out of her freeze, after knowing who it was.

The guy who helped her in her dream? Finally… some things are coming together.

"Well, there was no light from her hand," I say.

"No, I can use my powers without the light. I'll explain later. But that wasn't me."

"What?" I ask.

"I…" Psyand stops, as she realises that I wasn't asking her that question.

The hotel… the upper part of it at least… and if I remembered correctly, that was where the room we had rented was… was broken into bits, and in the distance.

So that is why I got a call and couldn't connect back to them… things really were coming together.

The doors of the van open, and we race out, mindlessly.

A huge board, made of broken bits, says a message on it, a message for Psyand…

'Psyand, please come back to play

Author's note:-

And... there it goes. I'm so happy to have finally completed Season 1!

The last few chapters were the chapters I had the idea for, from the start, but they took a lot more time to write, than the others, which I weaved out when writing.

So many things had to be changed from what I initially planned, but... I feel I did right. Do let me know your views!

Will be back with some extras and Season 2, by the 5th of April!
