Meeting The Blacksmith God's Descendant - [ Chapter - 10 ]

After school was over, Seong-Min excitedly logged back in, but he didn't have any idea what to do for the next live stream. Instead, he wandered around the city, trying to think of something. He thought of upgrading his first job again.

He checked the requirements and saw he needed a blessing from three powerful beings, evolve three monsters five times, and tame a mythical creature, Splashy didn't count as one of the mythical creatures.

Since he became Seong-Min's pet before he got the job. He already had two blessings; one from the Angel of Light, and another from the Dragon King. He quickly went around the city gathering materials for Splashy and the other's evolution.

After a few hours, he was finally able to gather all the materials, but they were only able to help evolve Splashy and Sprout three more times, Thunder two times and Rock and Boulder once each.

Seong-Min needed to fight a boss a couple of times to get the material he needed to evolve Thunder another time. He didn't want to live stream it because it was relatively easy now that he was three times more powerful than his current level.

So it would get boring during the live stream, after the boss fight, he only leveled up once, while Splashy and the others leveled up two to three times, he got what he needed and evolved Thunder a fifth time.

Now all he needed was another blessing and to tame another mythical creature. He thought the dragon egg he had gotten could definitely be the mythical creature he should tame next.

Splashy and the others learned a bunch of new skills, like God Bolt, Overgrowth, Tsunami and other stuff. He tested them a few times with some bosses, and they were relatively powerful. All of them were able to solo a boss that was level 125 or lower.

He went back to the city to ask the NPC if they knew anything about a powerful being or blessings and that stuff, but he couldn't find anything. He continued to walk around until he bumped into another player.

The player dropped his stuff and when Seong-Min saw it happen and so he felt bad, so he helped him, the player thanked Seong-Min as they both started to pick up the stuff he dropped to the floor on the ground.

[Ding! The Godly Tamer asks you to ask the boy to make you a piece of equipment.]

Seong-Min was confused. This was the first time the game system asked him to do something, but he did it anyway. "Hey, I can see you're a blacksmith. Can you make me something and I will definitely pay for it as well." the boy agreed and I went to his shop.

He asked Seong-Min, "You're a tamer, so the best equipment suited for you right now would be a shield. I can craft one for you with the Spirit's core in your inventory." Seong-Min looked at him weirdly.

He asked how he knew he had a Spirit's core in his inventory, the player was shocked because he didn't mean to say it out loud, after a while, he told me that his job was actually the, "Descendant of the Blacksmith God", Hephaestus.

It allowed him to see useable materials inside a person's inventory and what equipment they needed at that moment, Seong-Min was surprised that another person had a godly job.

Seong-Min gave him the Soul's core and he quickly crafted a shield infused with the core, He called it the, "Haunted Shield". The description showed that it grew stronger when given stat points.

It could also gain abilities when devouring ghost type monsters and it could only be used by the person who it was created for or the creator himself. It was a really powerful shield that was able to think on its own like Splashy and the others.

Seong-Min paid him a lot of gold because of how incredible it was. They talked for a bit more. The player mentioned he required a material for him to upgrade his job like Seong-Minbut his level was still too low.

Seong-Min agreed to help him if he could count on him to create his equipment. They made a deal. Before he left, he said,"My username is Hinge, what's yours?" Seong-Min replied,"I'm Jayeon, send me a friend request so we can talk more later."

[Blacksmith God's Trial]

[Help his descendant gather the materials needed to upgrade his job.]

[Reward: Blessing, 25k experience points and 50,000g]

[Penalty: -100 Favorability of the Blacksmith God]

Seong-Min was surprised. He was able to get a mission from a player and the rewards were what he needed to help upgrade his job as well. He saw no reason not to do it, Seong-Min went to the mountains called, "Death Mountain".

He still needed materials from there. It's a place that only people that are level 300 are supposed to go, but he did it anyway since his power was definitely beyond it already, he also used some of his stat points for the Haunted Shield already.

Seong-Min also started a live stream. This time he was definitely going to shock his viewers by going to a place that needed him to be double his current level, so he then started his live stream.

He then gave his standard greeting, "Hey Guys, The Godly Tamer back at it again and this time we're going to the Death Mountain." A lot of people thought he would definitely die this time.

But he when he started fighting, he was easily overpowering any of the monsters that came near him although his attacks weren't effective towards most of the monsters since some of them are ghost attributed.

He was able to cut them down with the help of some holy water he bought and poured onto his sword to at least be able to fight them on even ground and Seong-Min was cutting each monster like paper.

Seong-Min also collected each and every drop from the monsters since they were worth a lot due to their ghost attribute and the undead attribute since classes related to undead tend to buy stuff like that as well.

They weren't even able to land a good attack against him so his viewers were really impressed but he couldn't put Splashy or the others out yet, because even after they evolved, their current power was only level 250 even though they're at 145+.
