Dance Academy

After the breakfast that was filled with laughter, Moon headed for her dance lesson with Lord Damascus by her side. They both were sitting in the carriage brought by Lord Damascus. Moon had stopped Governess Madeline from attending to her and the Governess had gratefully accepted that because she also was trying to see and think of a way to stop teaching her, so it did not seem as if she was discarding the Savior all for her lack of knowledge.

"You know, you don't have to bother about taking me to the lesson. When I close, do you expect me to trek back home?" mumbled Moon as she looked out of the window.

"I shall escort you back home also," said Lord Otis

"Your action seems like the one a man does when courting a Lady," said Moon with a chuckle

"I never knew that," muttered Otis as he looked at Moon who stared at him after he uttered his words. He was indirectly telling the young maiden that he wasn't aware of his actions seeming like that of a courtship, meaning he hadn't courted someone before

"Lord, Otis, you are still the innocent boy from years ago," mumbled Moon with a burst of loud laughter. There were only a few people who could tolerate Moon, and they were her parents, the servants in the house, and probably, Otis and her other friend. She didn't have a nasty manner, or character, she had also been the calm type who did give you the silent treatment. Why most people couldn't tolerate her was because of her ever-silent treatment or words that could make you reason your life ten times. Those that couldn't tolerate her were usually those of her generation but who cared if they could, they all were to worship her like some god

"Innocent? I doubt that," said with a laugh Otis

"So you're not? Maturity has done a lot on us."

"Have you seen, Lady Adams or heard from her? I heard she moved to the west," uttered Otis

"Danielle is certainly doing great, I think. She's married to Lord Gorge Flickerhead," muttered Moon. She could still remember the day Danielle Adams, one of the most eligible spinsters of the Northern Ashbourne wedded. It was a big event at that period. Lady Adams was a friend of Moon and still is. She was given to Lord Flickerhead of western Ashbourne who was known for his promiscuous attitude. Everyone had wondered why Danielle was given to Lord Flickerhead when there were lots of eligible bachelors that could match perfectly well with her. The wedding was loud and colorful, it made lots of people filled with vinegar that the Adams family, who was known as the least wealthy family could afford such a wedding. But possibly, it was Lord Flickerhead that took care of everything.

After the wedding and sort, it was later discovered that Lord Adam Adams owed Lord Flickerhead and paid with his daughter even though a wedding ceremony was thrown.

"How sure are you?" asked Otis. "Rumors have it that Lord Gorge is aggressive and unfaithful."

"I know, but Danielle and I have been exchanging letters and she states in them how well she is doing," mumbled Moon. If she says she doesn't mean Danielle, then she did be lying.

"I hope she is doing well then."

"Are you going to marry soon?" asked Moon to Otis in a teasing manner. She didn't even expect him to get shocked by her question

"At this time, I'm not interested in marriage," replied Otis

"Why?" inquired Moon

"I'm not ready for that at this moment, and… I don't think the woman I like is interested in the marriage too," mumbled Lord Damascus

"The woman you like isn't ready for marriage? Oh my, my. Who's this lucky woman that captures the heart of a go… My mama isn't here so, who captured the heart of a good-looking man like you?" asked Moon with a silly smile on her face. It was quite evident that she was happy her friend loves someone

"She doesn't even know about my feelings for her," muttered Otis and their carriage got into a bump causing Moon to hit her head on the side

"Ouch," flinched in pain, Moon

"Pardon me, My Lord, My Lady," said the Coachman from the front. "It was a little bump."

"Are you alright?" asked Otis as he moved to check Moon

"Yes, I am. Why haven't we gotten to the dance academy yet?" inquired Moon

"Almost there, My Lady," answered the Coachman

"You were saying the woman doesn't know about your feelings for her?" asked Moon

"Yes, she doesn't," replied Otis as he looked at her smiling. He wonders how she would react when she realizes that he loves her.

"Do you want me to tell her on your behalf? Are you shy, My Lord?" asked Moon teasingly. It was shocking to know that Otis hasn't told a Lady that he likes about his feelings, he's such a shy man… hehe

"I will tell her when the time comes. We have arrived at the academy," said Otis as he opened the door at his side and got down. The coachman opened the door for Moon and she got down

Otis walked her to the entrance and said, "I will wait until you're done. I'm visiting Lady Davison," mumbled Otis

"Okay, thanks for the ride," said Moon as she walked into the dance academy.

Madame Berthe's Dance Academy has been the most decent, modest dance academy attended by children of wealthy Lords and Ladies. The Academy teaches well in the dancing aspect. The Academy had been passed from generation to generation and has been flourishing since then, it had been making waves in the Kingdom of Ashbourne. It has been a renowned Dance Academy.

"Did Lord Damascus just lead you here?" asked Lady Amelia.

"Yes, he just did," answered Moon proudly.

"Where did you know him from?" questioned Lady Warderlock.

"He's my best friend. We've been friends for a long time," replied Moon as she took her seat and waited for the Teacher to arrive.

Moon was so proud of Otis. The way he was popular among the Ladies and the Men who kept saying words of goodness about how much he had achieved. She was a proud friend
