Lady Aetos

At the dance academy, Lady Aetos entered the class and all the dance students shushed their mouths instantly. Lady Aetos, one of the best dance teachers in Ashbourne Empire was someone to be feared, she always had that 'Don't talk to me face. She was someone stoic and a no-nonsense person. Why she was mostly feared by people was because of the connection she had with the royal family.

Years back, rumor had it she was going to marry the Man whore but every high official and villager all went to the palace and when they returned, it was said that the news was fake. Since then, Lady Aetos had become colder than the way she was before. She took this job has been a dance tutor at Madame Berthe's Academy at the age of Nineteen and she now been Twenty-two, her teaching popularity had gone vast

"I believe everyone here has learned the dance step?" questioned Lady Aetos

"Yes!" They all said in chorus

As they began to practice, Lady Chips mistakenly stepped onto Lord Rummage's feet and he frowned before calling the attention of Lady Aetos. "Milady, I think Lady Chips needs more practice, she stepped on my feet and she hasn't been getting the dance steps well."

Lady Aetos moved to their side and spoke, "Is that true Agatha?"

"It is, I stepped on his feet mistakenly and---"

"I don't need your explanation," interjected Lady Aetos. "Come out here and dance. Stop everyone."

Lady Chips was asked to dance with Lord Viper and when they did, Agatha stepped on his feet more than twice

"I can see you know nothing, Agatha," mumbled Lady Aetos and everyone chuckled lightly. "I'm sure all you do all day is talk and eat. That explains why you are overweight."

"What?" inquired Agatha, unbelievably. Lady Aetos might be feared by all but that didn't give her the permission and audacity to talk to someone that way

"You heard me right. It's high time to lose fat."

"I don't think she's overweight, Jemima," spoke Moon from the back

"How dare you call me by my name?" asked Lady Aetos.

"Respect is reciprocal. You can't disrespect someone and expects to be respected. You are saying, Lady Chips is overweight, so what if she is? Is it a crime to have a fat body? Lady Chips isn't even fat, she's moderate in size," muttered Moon as she moved to stand beside Agatha Chips.

"I can see you are talking back at me, Lady Dandelion," said Jemima Aetos, the dance tutor

"I am, I don't seem to understand why you've been bitter since this past years, Milady. You shouldn't say rubbish to your students, Jemima. You've always said hurtful words but I think you should stop," mumbled Moon and the others nodded their heads, agreeing to what Moon said.

As popular as Lady Aetos was, she had a sharp mouth, she was ready to bash anyone who messed with her and those who didn't. No one spoke to her but when you make a slight mistake in her presence, then await bashing, insults…

"I see. Moon, you are trying to tutor me in treating and talking to people rightly. Oh, my girl, you are foolish…"

"Excuse you? I am foolish? How dare you, Jemima? Oh, I now understand why you are like this. Back then you thought you would marry the Cursed Prince and suddenly, your joy was killed when you learned you wouldn't be marrying him. You became colder than the way you were before, you became harsher. You poured your disappointment and grief on the people who went to the palace, so you decided to make everyone fear you. You made everyone think your connections with the royal family were enough for them to be terrified of you.

Others also have connections with the royal family but you made yours seem bigger," said Moon as she gazed at Jemima

"Unbelievable! Look at this mannerless daughter of the Dandelion family. I can see we've played a lot," said Jemima

"We've never played," uttered Moon. "If you are bitter about not being the one to marry the Prince, then you should know why they did it."

"You think I don't know, I do. All of your parents are to be blamed," mumbled Lady Aetos. She and Moon hadn't raised their voices, this was to show that no matter how fierce the argument can be, shouting and making use of fists isn't allowed. "And I will make sure of that."

Moon looked at the retreating Lady and heaved a sigh, she turned to Agatha and questioned, "Are you alright?"

"I am, thank you for standing up for me," said Lady Chips

"I did it for every one of us," replied Moon

"I've always wanted to talk back at her but I've been scared. My parents warned me not to look her in the face," said Lady Warderlock

"Let's get out of here," said Moon

**

When Lady Aetos walked out of the dance class, she went to get her things and set for home. As she walked out of the Academy to her carriage, she was spotted by Lord Damascus

"Lady Aetos," called Otis with a smile. Lady Davison who was by his side snorted when she saw Lady Aetos

Lord Damascus pinched her arm and she glared at him. Both of them had a relationship that was kind of different from the one he had with Moon. He and Lady Davison had always been free with each other, fighting, and arguing with one another. They both were the definition of adult cats and rats.

"Otis," called Lady Aetos before she looked at Lady Davison

"Are you done with class for today?" asked Otis with a smile.

"I am, I'm heading for home," muttered Lady Aetos before she bid Otis a bye

"Get home safely, Jemima," uttered Lady Davison with a smirk

"You too, Aurora," said Jemima

Aurora Davison smiled widely as she saw Jemima get into her carriage before it was wheeled away

"You don't cease to look for trouble, Rora," mumbled Otis

"You know me," said Aurora with a smile

Aurora sighted Moon come out and she nudged Otis by the arm and said, "When will you tell her?"

"Hmm?" asked Otis not understanding her

"Moon."

Otis looked at the entrance and saw Moon, he smiled, "I will tell her soon."

"Sooner than later so you wouldn't lose her to someone else," said Aurora

"I wouldn't lose her," mumbled Otis

"I like your confidence but…"

"What are you saying, Aurora? Is something going on?" asked Otis

Aurora just shook her head and smiled, it wasn't her place to speak of it. No one was to speak of it. She heard of it from her parents by mistake and they had warned her well not to tell anyone. Only the elders knew Moon was betrothed to the crown prince, others just saw her as their savior and surely, Moon herself doesn't know about it.

But that was where she was wrong, Moon knew about her betrothment and she was trying to cope with it even though it was hard, even though she doesn't acknowledge the fact that she did marry a Man whore
