CHAPTER 24

~LILY'S POV~

Tomorrow is the last day for my whole class t leave the castle. I'll leave too but only to get my stuff from home and come back to hopefully my home forever. I'm coming to realise I'm starting to fall for these vampires even after our tough first imperresions.

They have different personalities and different ways to express their feelings towards me and they've all made it perfectly clear how they feel. They love me and that's more than I can ask from them.

To think about never having children with any of them, yes still upsets me at the thought so I came to a conclusion that might work. I want to spend time in places like school for younger children or a hospital ward for children or even a daycare. With either human or vampire children I don't really care about that. Just anything that will satisfy my need to be around children.

I think that's what I'll start doing after I graduate, I've now made a goal in life ass well as live in this huge castle, something I never thought would happen in my life.

If my idea doesn't work then I can always convince them to change their minds in some way or another. If they want to keep me alive forever just like them then I'll have plenty to do it, won't I?

Joy makes jokes about it, she started calling me princess or makes a comment saying 'yes your highness' and even bows sometimes. It's kind of funny but its never a serious thing. I don't people bowing to me or anything like that but Han did tell me that would happen with others.

My classmates became scared to talk to me, all except Aiden. If anything he became more determined to talk to me. He's even started telling me that he has something to show me but I don't have to listen to him or ever have to talk to him again.

That currently brings me to where I am right now. The other side of the castle after evening meal I decided to go for a walk on the kings side of castle where no one else is aloud to go.

Joy wanted to have a bathe and I came here just to get out and about to hide form Aiden so he couldn't find me and bother me. Plus they all said I'm welcome to go anywhere in the castle so I do just that and explore.

I have to say you can tell by the decoration that this place is old but well looked after and clean. There's not one spec of dust anywhere that I've seen.

I loved the old paintings and I couldn't help but stop by each of them to have a deep hard look at them. The art work all very well painted and deserved their places on the wall.

A hard grip on my wrist aggressively twirled me around and into a chest. It surprised me so much and it was hard to process who it was at first until I looked up at the face and immediately tried to push away but they didn't budge.

"Aiden let me go! What are you even doing here?!"

I know he's not supposed to be here. Its private side of the castle.

"You have to come with me. I need to show you something." Aiden

I hit his chest with my free hand but only for him grab that one too.

"No! Aiden stop it!"

He's lucky that vampires aren't here right now. They had to leave for a quick meeting with someone. They didn't go into detail about it but they said it wouldn't be long. If they were here they would of heard my shouts and be here in a second.

"Lily, I'm serious you are coming with me." Aiden

"No I'm not! The kings will come for you."

Aiden scoffs and starts to pull me down the hall as I try to stop myself from even taking a step.

"What/ Your MATES? I know they're not here Lily. They won't be here for a little while." Aiden

I stop dead in my tracks, glaring at the back of his head. They didn't tell anyone that they were leaving and I know they didn't go out form the front way of the castle.

"How do you know they are not here?"

He sighs and turns to look at me.

"I have my sources so just come with me now. I'll show you something and then I'll never come near you again. Just please let me show you something." Aiden

"You'll never talk to me or even come near me again?"

It seemed suspicious to why would he even say such a thing.

"Yes. I promise. Just, please!" Aiden

I sighed. Why do I feel like I'm going to regret this.

"Fine. Just let go of my wrist. Once you show me whatever it is, just leave me alone."

He nods and slowly lets go of my wrist.

"Okay. Follow me."

He hesitantly started walking down the corridor as I followed close behind him with him looking over his shoulder at me every now and then. Probably just making sure I'm still following him in which I am.

If this gets him to go away and stay away then i'll do it. It's seemed simply enough but I couldn't help but get confused when we came down to the basement where the movie theater is.

I let out a frustrated sigh.

"Seriously Aiden, If its to show me their movie theater then I already know where it is."

He glimpse back at me and shook his head.

"We're not going there. You'll see when we get there." Aiden

I rolled my eyes and just continued to follow him down the long hallway and growing even more confused as we did actually walk past the doors to the movie theater and we stopped in front of massive brown double doors, decorated with thick metal. It looked creepy and I remember seeing it before.

"Why did we stop here?"

He turns around with a sad look on his face.

"I wanted to show you what's through these doors. They are not what the seem Lily and this is my proof to you. Go see yourself." Aiden

He waved a hand towards the door. I eyed him up and down and then nodded to step to the massive doors and push it open. They were quite heavy to push but as I did I could already feel the cold air wash over my face. Like a harsh breeze that you would get on a cold day. Its freezing in here and not to mention dark.

Its a dungeon?

The more I stepped inside the more goosebumps rose on my body. I already just hated the sight of this creepy place, so do I dare go in further?

I do. Curiosity kills the cat.

I walk in further just to have the door bang close behind me.

"Lily?" Aiden

I heard his voice echo even in whisper.

"Aiden what is this place?"

I walk to the table in the room only to find a single candle and a bloodied rag on the table. I picked it up disgusted at the sight and dropped it to the floor.

The rattle of chains caught my attention and that's when i noticed the rusted metal bars that looked like a cell. Walking to see what it was, made me what to barf at what was inside. There was two naked women lying on the cold floor covered in their own blood. Did my so called mates do this?! No! Right! They can't do anything like that.

I banged on the bars with my fists but the girls doesn't move.

"Aiden! You have to help me get them out of here!"

"Its no use Lily. They would of been compelled to not leave this place." Aiden

I spun around to face him with angry tears in my eyes.

"What?! Why?! By who?!"

"By those men that you call your mates. Lily they use women for their own selfish needs. Whoever they can get their jaws on." Aiden

I went to shout at him again but a chair just to the side of him catches my eye. It was covered in blood and and not to mention there was a red stained shirt lying across it. I recognize it right away. Its Luke's that he was wearing yesterday.

My eyes travelled around the room. There was along corridor down the room and I wanted to know where it led so I stomped my way down there and found more cells with at least two girls in each cell, covered in blood and naked. Why are they naked?

Please don't tell me they've been having sex with them too. Please.

There was a single wooden door at the end and the place stunk of blood and dead. Like rotten.

I held a hand over my nose at the smell and pushed open the single door. The smell became so bad, I threw up to the side of the door, all over the floor. I didn't have to look in there to know what it was. Dead bodies.

I didn't bother shutting it and ran back to where Aiden was. He stood with his hands in his pockets with sympathy written all over his face as i cried my eyes out.

"Why did you show me this?!"

"You needed to know what they're capable of. They are dangerous and only think of human as their next meal and I'm afraid you'd be their next victim. You just needed to see it. They don't love you it was just an act." Aiden

He sighed out the last part and turned away to look at the floor. I bit my lip, giving him one last look before running past him and out the door.

This is too much. Those seven softy's that I care about so much do this kind of thing?! I know they've got reputation but I thought the laws they set out to stop things like this but they are totally going against their own law and putting humans in danger.

Also to use women like this, I'm not stupid to why they were naked. This whole time they were trying to get to know me and kiss me and god knows what else's?!! They were not only sucking these women dry but also fucking them!!! that's disgusting!! They touched me the same way!! disgusting!

They lied! They all lied!! Did they really never love me?!

I ran throughout the whole castle until I came to certain double doors and abrged in without knocking.

"Lily? What are you doing here?"

"Dad!"

I whimpered and ran into his arms as he stood up from his desk, worry written all over his face.

"What happened honey?" Dad

"I can't its too horrible."

I rubbed my tear stained cheeks against his white shirt.

"You are worrying me, what's the matter?" Dad

He rubbed my back in circles and lay his chin on the top of my head.

"I-I saw it. T-That room. Their basement. A-All of it."

He doesn't say anything. He remains quiet and still. I think he knows about that room but I'm not mad at him for not telling me. I mean what could he do? Nothing......

"Can you take me home, please? I don't want to be here anymore. Please dad."
