Well no big flash or noise. It was like I decided to travel to world B and here I was. As soon as I was in world B I noticed that I could see a hut around 200 meters away that was not present in world A.
This showed that I had indeed travelled across. As soon as I confirmed this I travelled back to world A. I did this a few times just to make sure that there was no cool down or other limits. I also made sure that I was able to take stuff out of the inventory space.
After making sure first thing I did was to check to see if my mobile was able to work. Well it did not work. Nothing on the signal bar. A few possibilities come to mind, I broke my phone when travelling between worlds, there is no mobile phone/wireless communication in this world or there is mobile communication but they use different standards.
As I was not going to get any answer standing in the field I decided to check my surrounding with the drone first. Looking at the drone footage the village looks slightly different but over all similar. I can see parked vehicles, street lights, roads etc. Looks pretty much the same as World A.
I took back the drone and walked into the village. As I was walking into the village I was a bit worried as now I was rethinking my choice of travel. Language might be an issue as I do not speak Thai and I am not sure what language is spoken here in World B. In World A there were quite a few people who spoke good enough English that I was able to get along with out having to speak Thai.
Looks like I was worried over nothing as they do speak Thai locally and to my surprise quite a lot more people speak English. As I was walking along I noticed people with mobile phone, that answers my question about if there was mobile phone in this world. I just decided to walk around and observe the village for the day.
Well some of the information I have gathered. Local people do seem to speak Thai (from my limited understanding), a lot more people speak English. The money is different to the Thai Bhat from World A. There are mobile phones, laptops etc.
Now that I have got a good idea of things I decided to change one of the 10g gold bar with the local currency and then get a room in the hotel. I don't think this hotel is any star but it has a bed room and a toilet so much better than the field.
The second test I was about to do was to quickly travel across and see where I end up. Fingers crossed its not into a wall.
As I travelled across to World A, I noticed I was in some ones bed room by the looks of it. I had a quick snoop around and looks like in World A this is a private residence of some one and not a hotel room. I quickly travelled back to World B. I would need to do a few more tests to make sure I do not end up in a wall but so far it seems like travelling between worlds is safe.
Now my next goal was to travel to the local city and get to a internet café. I would then be able to do more research and also find out the history of this world.
