Chapter 10 "Kidnap him"

As soon as Teacher Matthew left I turned around and asked Yuna "Now tell me what happened? Why were you late to the class? You know what'd happen if you missed the attendance right? You must have stayed up late last night, right? why are you so careless?"

I showered her with questions.. so, she covered my mouth with her hand and said "If you ask one more question, I'm not gonna tell you.. you get that?"

I nodded my head showing that I agreed to her.. She removed her hand and sighed "huh.. where should I start from?"

I looked at her confused and flicked her forehead lightly "Start from the start obviously.. stupid.."

She rubbed her forehead and looked at me with her eyes narrowed "You are pretty mean to do that.. anyways.. so.. I left home on time as I leave everyday.. and I was about to reach when you called me.. but after the call ended I bumped into a small kid around six or seven of age.. he was surrounded by some tough looking men.. I thought that they were going to kidnap him or something, so, I shouted at them and said 'leave the kid alone or I'm going to call the police'.."

I looked at her in surprise and my eyes opened wide in shock "Then.. what happened after that? Don't keep me in suspense.."

She smirked and said "haha.. have some patience at least.. so, after that they all turned around and looked at me.. then they looked at each other.. one of then said something to the guy standing near him.. the guy nodded his head and started walking towards me.."

"Woah.. what happened then?" It was getting scary and exciting at the same time..

"He came in front of me and picked me up without saying anything.. I started struggling to get myself freed.. but he was too strong and I started to get scared pretty badly.." Yuna said as she held my hand..

I waited for her to continue the story, without saying anything..

"When we reached near the child, he put me down.. I looked at them, they all looked very strong.. I was scared.. I was about to say something when I heard the little boy say 'it looks like you misunderstood us.. they are just my friends.. we were about to go and play.. so please don't think unnecessary things'.. I looked at him and saw that he was looking right at me without smiling.. he looked pretty serious and pissed off at me for ruining his outing with his friends.."

Yuna said the last sentence and we both burst out laughing.. we laughed for a good whole minute before stopping.. I wiped tears hanging out my eyes and said "Oh my.. that was pretty epic.. I wish I was there with you to see this.. so, this was the end? You didn't say anything to him?"

She also wiped her tears and said.. "No No.. let me finish.. so, after he said that, I looked around me at the guys standing around us and said with confusion 'are you sure, these are your friends? You've got pretty big guys as friends.. huh.. ' after that I squatted down a little bit to his level and said 'hey little guy.. if you are scared of them and not telling me the truth because of that, then you can just give me signal with you eyes'.."

She paused to take a sip of water and then continued "I stood straight there looking him in the eyes, waiting for any kind of signal.. but all he did was looked at me and blinked, as if he wanted to say 'are you an idiot'.. after a few seconds he looked at the guys around us and said.. 'let's go.. or we'll be late'.. and with that they all left.."

I looked at her and started laughing again.. "That was awesome.. I feel bad for missing out on the fun.."

Yuna looked at me and sighed "Huh.. it was an intense scene at first look.. so, I got scared.. but yeah.. now that I'm telling you, it's seems quite funny.. So miss Da-eun, this is the whole story of me being late.."

I held me cheeks between my hands as they started to hurt because of too much laughter.. it's been so long since I last laughed like that..

As soon as we finished our small chat, the next class started.. it was science.. teacher Ms. Liana entered.. she was in her late twenties and quite beautiful too.. so, whenever it was her class, all the boys paid special attention to her and tried to make conversations with her..

Ms. Liana was also very nice, she tried to answer every question except those that were personal.. she made sure to tell them strictly not to ask her personal questions.. but boys are boys.. they never listen.. this happened every time..

The class went by smoothly.. After that we had two more classes.. soon it was time for lunch.. I looked inside my bag and found out that I forgot to bring lunch.. I was so amazed by Elio's cooking that I forgot to tell him to pack something for my lunch..

I stood up and asked Yuna "Hey Yuna, wanna come with me to get something to eat?"

Yuna took out her lunch box and placed it on the table "Why not share with me? I got extra.."

"You are so sweet.." I said and was about to pull my chair near her and start eating when someone came and called my name "Da-eun.. teacher Matthew wants you to go to his office.."

I looked at Yuna and made an apologetic face "Looks like I have to go hungry today.."

She looked sorry too but still said "it's alright.. if you finish quickly, maybe you can still have some food.."

After that I left the class and made my way to teacher Matthew's office.. I reached there within a minute and knocked on the door.. "Knock knock.."

"Come in.." I heard his voice and I opened the door..

As soon as I went inside I saw a man sitting in front of teacher Matthew.. his back was facing me, so, I was not able to take a look at his face.. I ignored him and stood in front of the table beside the man.. "You called for me sir.."
