Chapter 27 " Sit beside Noona"

"Eunaa… Eunaa.. are you listening?" Da-eun finally snapped back to reality when Yuna nudged her.. She turned her head to look at her and raised her eyebrows "What happened?"

Yuna rolled her eyes at her and whispered "It's the same kid that I met a few days ago and thought that he was going to get abducted.. I told you about it.. do you remember?"

Da-eun narrowed her eyes and tried to recall the day, Yuna told her about it.. She finally managed to recall and nodded her head before saying "Yeah.. now I remember you told me about it.. But, are you sure he's the one? What if you mistook him for someone else?"

Yuna furrowed her eyebrows "I don't think I made a mistake in recognizing him.. I'm sure he is the one.." Da-eun heard her and turned to look at Noah and thought "If what she said is right.. then what was he up to that day? Why'd I feel that every time he becomes more and more mysterious? What is it that you keep hiding from me?"

She was still in her thoughts when Teacher Matthew spoke again "Please introduce yourself.." He looked at Noah and gave a slight smile, waiting for him to speak..

Noah looked forward maintaining a straight face "I'm Flynn Moretti.." he stopped speaking as soon as he started.. Silence spread in the class.. one second passed.. two seconds passed.. three seconds passed.. when suddenly the class erupted in an uproar..

Girls in the class started fangirling.. One girl said "Aww.. he's so handsome and cute at the same time.."

Another girl spoke "Uwu.. and did you hear his introduction? It was so domineering.. aahhh.. I think I've become a fan of his.."

One girl went as far as shouting "Flynn.. what do you think about getting an older girlfriend?"

Everyone burst into laughter at what the girl said.. Da-eun covered her face from the embarrassment she felt for Noah… From the gap of her fingers she saw that Noah's expression didn't even change a little bit.. and he remained standing there with his indifferent face and cold eyes looking in her direction..

When Teacher Matthew saw that his students were getting out of hand, he finally spoke "Silence.. I think that's enough for today.. you can have a chat after the class.. now that the introduction is over, You can decide where you'd like to sit.. you can find a suitable seat and go there directly.."

Noah nodded his head and walked a few steps before coming to a stop "Can I sit beside you noona Da-eun?" As soon as Noah said this sentence, everyone gasped in surprise.. they all turned their gaze to Da-eun and waited for her to say something..

When Da-eun heard this, she removed her hands from her face and turned her head to look at Noah, who was standing beside, on her left.. Da-eun felt stares directed at her but didn't dare to meet their eyes..

Da-eun felt awkward but still smiled slightly before saying "Yes.. you can sit here with me.." After saying that, she scooted to her right side to make enough space for him to sit beside her..

Noah looked at her giving him space and finally sat down in his seat.. he then turned to look at the teacher..

Teacher Matthew saw that he had settled in his seat, only then did he take out his attendance register to record the attendance..

Yuna, who saw everything silently, was not as calm as she looked.. she poked at Da-eun's hand before whispering "Do you know him? Why did he address you as 'Noona'?" When she saw that Da-eun was ignoring her she said "hey.. say something.."

Da-eun slightly turned towards her to warn her and glared at her "Quite.. I'll tell you later.." after warning her she saw that Yuna had finally shut her mouth and nodded slightly before turning to look at the teacher..

Soon the class came to an end.. As soon as the teacher left the classroom, some girls that were commenting and shouting before, gathered around them to have a chat with Noah..

They started to introduce themselves to Noah one after another.. and asked him to go with them for lunch.. On the other hand Noah sat there with his straight face and kept playing on his phone..

Yuna felt confused about the whole 'Noona' thing and tapped on Da-eun's shoulder "Hey.. Do you know this kid? Why'd he call you noona? Now that the teacher had left you can tell me.. I'm way too curious to know.. Eunaa.."

Da-eun felt 'if I didn't tell her now, she's gonna make my head ache from all her whining for answers.. argh..' Da-eun sighed and stood up from her seat and sat beside Yuna before saying "Well he's my little brother.. not by blood by the way.."

Yuna heard her and her eyebrows raised up in surprise "Is he the same brother that called you yesterday, when we were in the café?" Yuna finally remembered about the conversation they had yesterday..

Da-eun saw that she doesn't need to continue any further and went back to her seat and opened her notebook and started to do some study..

"Hey.. little guy.. I didn't know you were going to join our class.." Noah heard the voice, raised his head to see that it was Aldo, Da-eun's friend that came home and played a game with him..

Noah narrowed his eyes as he recalled last night.. He was suspicious of his motives behind becoming friends with Da-eun.. in his heart he thought 'I'd be keeping an eyes on you..'

Yuna, who had just settled down in her seat after hearing Da-eun's explanation, jumped up in surprise and said "Why are you being all friendly with him? Did you guys meet or what? Are you and Da-eun being all 'best friends', behind my back?.. Da-eun, can you tell me, how'd even this idiot know your brother? I'm smelling something fishy here.. tell me quickly, both of you.."

Noah heard about Yuna's little tantrum and shook his head before going back to playing on his phone, ignoring the three big idiots.. he felt like he was the only civilized human there..

Da-eun held her forehead and sighed.. she was about to say something when she heard Aldo say "Why can't I know her brother? We even played video game together yesterday.. haha.. now you see that.. who's more important to Da-eun, to make her introduce her brother to me.. hmph.."

Aldo found a chance to show off in front of Yuna and he was enjoying teasing her.. Yuna saw the provocative smile on his face and got irritated "You.. who do you think you are? You only became her friend yesterday.. on the other hand I'm her friend for years.. hmph.. you can't compete on this with me.." She teased him back by sticking her tongue out..

Aldo saw this and was about to refute when Da-eun shouted "Shut up.. both of you.. my head is going to burst because of your childishness.."
