Chapter 29 "Pervert"

They talked about some random stuff during lunch.. Aldo turned his head towards Noah, who was sitting on his left.. he scooted closer to his ear and said in a low voice "Noah.. I don't understand why'd you introduce yourself as Flynn Moretti? " usually he'd have not made a big deal out of it because people had different names for home and outside.. like nickname..

But as he interacted with Noah more he understood one thing about him, that he was not someone to let others call him by his nicknames.. he was an introverted and a serious kind of kid in Aldo's eyes.. that much he'd understood by their conversation in the limited time that he had spent with Noah..

Noah, who was eating his food quietly, raised his head and turned to look at Aldo, he raised his eyebrows and looked at him questioningly.. When Aldo saw him making a face that was saying "Do you have any problem with that?".. Aldo touched his nose and said again "Please don't think that I'm being nosy or something.. it's not like that, I was just simply curious, that's all.. if you don't want to tell me then I'm fine with that too…"

Noah heard what Aldo said and rolled his eyes before voicing him out in his mind 'You are being nosy.. and I don't like that.. but for the sake of Da-eun, I'll let it slide.. anyway, I have to keep an eye on you too, so I have to befriend you to dig deeper..'

Noah ate a spoonful of his food and said in a low voice.. "It's not that I mind.. But it's funny that you don't even get something so simple.." Noah again looked at Aldo with a smirk on his face..

Aldo narrowed his eyes at what Noah said to him, thinking 'What's he getting at I don't understand?' Aldo hesitated a little bit before saying "I don't understand what you are talking about?"

Noah put down his spoon, wiped his mouth with a napkin.. he then turned around.. His serious unyielding eyes met with Aldo's confused and uncertain eyes.. He stared at him for a few seconds before saying "Noah is my nickname.. I don't allow outsiders to call me by that.. so keep that in mind for the future.."

After saying that he stood up and asked Da-eun "Are you done eating yet? We'll be late for the next class if you only focus on talking and not eating.. hurry up.."

Da-eun got surprised when Noah suddenly scolded her and raised her head to look at him, only to find him staring at her "Y-yeah.. I'm almost done.. just a second.." She stuffed her mouth with the remaining few spoons of food before standing up..

Noah, Da-eun and Yuna, all finished their food and stood up to leave.. Yuna saw that Aldo was still sitting there in a daze and was looking at Noah, she said teasing him "Are you also feeling mesmerized by our handsome and good looking Noah? Snap out of it already.. we have to leave.. Pervert.." Yuna said the last word in a low voice so that no one could hear it.. but Aldo heard it..

Aldo snapped out of his thoughts and glared at Yuna for making fun of him "You wish.. I was just thinking about some stuff.. do you think I'm stupid like you and don't have anything to do? I can see that you keep sneaking glances at Noa-.. I mean Flynn.. And who are you calling a pervert? You are a pervert for thinking like that.."

Da-eun turned to look at her with her eyes that were wide open with surprise.. Noah narrowed his eyes at the word 'pervert' that Yuna said, he also heard it.. he shook his head in his heart for her wrong choice of words..

Yuna felt her face burning for getting exposed like that in front of Noah and Da-eun.. she shook her head in denial and tried to justify herself in front of Da-eun "No.. no.. it's not like that.. I was just amazed at how well mannered he is while eating.. he looks like he had taken some training for that.. just that.. don't get me wrong.. I'm older than him.. how can I have that kind of thoughts?"

Yuna tried to make Da-eun understand her reason behind her glances.. Da-eun was still processing what just happened in her mind when she heard Aldo say "Oh.. so when you look it's because you were amazed by his mannerism and can't think like that because you are older than him.. but when I look it's because I'm a pervert? You're a hypocrite for saying that.. hmph.."

After saying that Aldo stood up and went to stand beside Noah, while his back facing Da-eun and Yuna.. he was mad.. he wanted to keep scolding her for what she said but he stopped because he remembered he promised Da-eun to not pick fights with Yuna.. He said in a low voice to Noah "I'm sorry you had to hear that.. I am not that kind of a man.. I was still thinking about my stupid question that I'd asked you earlier.. I don't know why she had to say something so degrading.."

Noah heard what Aldo said and nodded his head in understanding..

Da-eun also felt bad for Aldo and finally said "Yuna.. you shouldn't have said that.. it's not a nice thing to say when you were doing the same thing.. I think you should apologise to Aldo.. he must be feeling sad for being misunderstood.."

Yuna realized her mistake and felt bad.. she nodded her head before taking a few steps to stand in front of Aldo.. "I'm sorry for saying that.. I was just teasing you.. I didn't expect you to expo-.." Yuna was about to say 'Expose me for a few a glances that I took..' but stopped and shook her head.. "I mean… I'm sorry for teasing you.. I didn't expect you to take it so serious.."

Aldo scoffed and said "Huh.. that was not funny.. I'm not a pervert for looking at a kid half my age.. you pointed your finger at my character.. and that's… not acceptable.." After saying that Aldo left with long strides.. this was the first time in his life that someone dared to insult him and got away with it unscathed..

Noah saw him leaving and narrowed his eyes, he turned to look at Da-eun and Yuna to say "Yuna.. you shouldn't have said that to him.. just because someone looks at others, doesn't mean he's a pervert.. if that's how things worked, then everyone in this world would become a pervert.. choose your words wisely next time.."

After saying that Noah held Da-eun's hand and said "Let's got.. leave her alone lo reflect on her own wrongs.. we should get going.." After saying that they left for the next class, leaving Yuna behind..

Yuna was also feeling bad after Noah scolded her.. she finally understood where she was wrong.. after a few moments she also left to attend the class..
