The air around him.

The room was filled with Ophni's cackle—his stare was on Lydan, who had a curious expression on his face "A month before the meeting, all of our parents told us that we 'll be enrolling in the Academy situated between Demarrow mountains" Arlo said.

"Our royal studies were formerly completed so it was strange for us and that's why we pulled strings then and there and what we found made us all shocked" Lynorr said.

"What did you find out?" Lydan signed, his face filled with curiosity.

"It's no power-sharing, no threatening from outside of our land," Lynorr said.

"It's a powerful force, remember when I told you that my dad was strained, he was tensed about me coming here" Arlo went on "I pulled strings then and there when I eventually got to know from my mother's char that soon a powerful force will gonna attack us"

All of their faces were frazzled including Lydan's "A powerful force?" Lydan signed.

"We don't know if it's an army or a great wizard but what I saw from my dad's expression is that no matter what it is, it's nothing to be taken lately," Arlo said.

"We all received Arlo's letter so we gave it some thought and came up with a plan to escape from here and find out ourselves," Lynorr said.

"The blast we did was to make a way out of this academy but we failed" Arlo again continued "We were struck as to what we should do next when Ayrton went to the principal because we got to know that he goes out constantly so Ayrton figured out that he will do the same when his first ever pupil asked him for a favor for the first time."

"A favor?" Lydan signed.

"He asked the principal to get a letter from your dad for you he said that you need one but that nasty principal did his job without even letting us know about the passage" Arlo lumbered.

"So the letter..." Lydan's notion muttered,

"And yesterday after you went to bed we planned that Feron will act as if he was triggered by the books we burned to distract Gage and sent our servants to find a way out from the timber as we can't leave the class," Lynorr said as she drank water from the glass she was holding.

"So you didn't go to your dorm yesterday," Lydan thought to himself.

"I could have helped you all if you would have told me this before" Lydan signed.

"Lady, we simply didn't want to trouble you, and besides you were sick yesterday," Ophni said while smiling.

"I wasn't" Lydan signed "Can you even trust your servants?"

"Only some," Arlo said.

"Where is Ayrton?" Lynorr asked.

"He went to the principal's office with professor Gage as soon as the servants came to help" Arlo replied.

"Ayrton was acting differently when he left" Lydan's conscience muttered as his grip tensed on his pendant.

"Feron is injured, our plan failed, he should have been here," Lynorr grumbled.

"I'm a lot curious too as to why he left like that" Ophni said as he lay down on the chesterfield.

"I thought he'll stick to the Lady until the end" Ophni muttered while smirking.

"So, now what?" Lydan signed.

"We will gonna lay low without doing anything for some time," Ayrton said.

Lydan suddenly looked back—after he harkened his voice, he saw Ayrton, who was standing behind the chesterfield on which he was seated—no one noticed him entering the hall as they were so immersed in the discourse.

"What did the principal say?" Arlo asked.

"He's playing with us," Ayrton replied as he sat beside Arlo on the chesterfield after trudging forward.

Lydan smiled as he noticed a different air around Ayrton—his stare wasn't revolving around him anymore.

"Did the pendant finally work?" Lydan's notion muttered.

"So he believed what you said to him," Lynorr asked.

"At least he's acting as if he believed in my explanation, for now, the best part is he doesn't know our intentions yet," Ayrton said.

"You all should have resisted coming here," Lydan signed.

"It was impossible, we were dragged here with the help of spells even if some of our parents like my dad didn't want us to go, Lynorr even ran away from the kingdom but was still caught in the end," Arlo said.

"So, mighty prince you're saying that we should take classes as a normal wisecracker," Ophni said as he started at Ayrton while smirking.

"Seeing your personality anyone even us knows that you won't be taking most of the classes anyway," Lynorr said.

"Well, there's nothing fun in those books," Ophni said while shrugging.

"Tell this to Feron and say farewell to the world forever," Lynorr said.

"Do you think I'll be spooked by the accursed power of that book obsessed?" Ophni said.

"I am going to see Feron," Arlo said as he stood up and left the main hall.

"I've to go to my dorm too," Lynorr said as she followed Arlo outside the hall.

Ophni was still lying down on the chesterfield "Lady, you look gaunt, rest some" Ophni said as he smirked while looking at Ayrton, who was seated with a gravestone face.

"I am fine" Lydan signed.

"Your condition wasn't good in class," Ophni said again with his stare fixed on Ayrton.

"It was nothing like that..." Lydan was gesturing as he stopped after harking to Ayrton's voice.

"Can you leave us alone?" Ayrton asked.

Ophni looked at Ayrton's face as mirth formed on his face "Me?" Ophni dramatically asked.

"Yes, I've something to talk to him about," Ayrton said.

Ophni stood up " Sure," he said while smirking as he left the room—Ayrton stood up from his seat and trudged toward the door—he started chuntering in an ancient language and came back to his seat.

"What did you do?" Lydan signed.

"I've put a small spell on the door so Ophni couldn't hear our discussion" Ayrton responded "so..."
