"Ha-ha. Where did this little girl come from? How impudent! You better shut your trashy mouth and start talking. Where is your bos…? Urk!"
The person who spoke was the tallest man among the bunch. He was called Vulture and his tone showed that he held Tejumole in contempt.
Obviously, he looked down on her.
But before he could finish speaking, a small knife impaled his neck and caused blood to gush out. It prompted him to back away staggeringly while tightly clutching his neck. He tried to stop the blood from rushing out, but It was to no avail. Eventually, he fell to the ground and his movements became slower. Then a moment later, he turned limp and lost the light in his eyes.
(Congratulations. For eliminating a low-tier boss, you have received 130 points.)
"One." Tejumole said emotionlessly while ignoring the words on the screen.
"Some people just can't read the room. Ha-ha and how did he expect you to talk if you shut your mouth? This one traded his brain for his height, huh." Aanu said with a snicker and watched the culprit lower her hand.
The interval between when Tejumole threw the knife to when Vulture fell to the ground only lasted about five seconds. It was so fast that it caused the group to be temporarily dazed.
However, they quickly snapped out of their stupefaction and realized that their comrade had been killed.
Just like that, with no warning.
This action was one of provocation, and it caused this group of men who had gotten used to watching others from a higher position to seethe with rage.
Thus, the group of enraged men instantly began firing their guns at her with the strong intent to eradicate the eyesore.
At that moment, Tejumole became the sole target of the most dangerous men in the region as she was smothered by a rain of bullets. The suddenness and coordination of their attack even caused Aanu to flinch, but Tejumole stood calmly in place and withstood the storm.
After all, she had expected this kind of response.
Five seconds…
Seven seconds…
Ten seconds…
Thirteen seconds…
In a matter of seconds, the expressions of the five men changed from livid to ghastly. Then their expressions blackened until they became even darker than a pot.
Any normal person, when under the onslaught of firearms, would be riddled with holes and die tragically. But today, they had seen something that crushed such expectation.
The guns in their hands were aimed and firing in the girls' direction. They could clearly see the bullets reaching her body and even passing through her skin, but there was no blood or any sign of injury.
Instead, the bullets flew off and hit the street lamp and the buildings in the distance.
After a round of gunfire, their guns were emptied, but no one moved to reload. The weapons they had used to lord over the masses for decades had failed them tonight.
"Who are you?" Black snake looked at Vulture, who died with a knife sticking out of his throat, then at the holes in the building a few feet away. He then stared at Tejumole and questioned her with narrowed eyes.
'This person is dangerous. We need to leave now…'
Alarm bells rang in his head as he thought of ways out of this situation.
Tejumole glanced at him but didn't speak. In her mind, she wondered if this skinny fellow was deaf. She already answered this question.
Noticing her silence, black snake asked a different question.
"We have no beef with one another, yet you came and destroyed our home. You could be arrested and charged for this. What do you want?"
"I'm here to punish you all for your transgressions." Tejumole answered in a textbook-like manner. She then continued in her usual apathetic tone.
"Don't worry, it'll be your turn soon." She gestured at the figure lying on the ground in a pool of blood.
"Who the f*ck…" Killer ram began but stopped talking after receiving a look from black snake.
Savage king looked at the girl standing in front of him. His gaze was murderous. He was just itching to tear her into tiny pieces. His fists were tightly clenched as he tried to contain the rage in his chest.
"You…are responsible for all this…" This was not a question, but a statement.
"Barging into my territory…destroying my life's work…" Savage king enunciated his words slowly as his gun dropped to the ground.
"Killing my men…" He could hear his heart thundering in his chest. His men probably heard it too.
It wasn't beating out of fear but anger. A pure and animalistic kind of rage. The pain originating from his clenched fists was the only thing that enabled him to retain his sanity.
"You did all this…why?" Savage king stared at Tejumole with eyes that were close to dripping blood. His muscles had somehow grown bigger, and he looked even more imposing now.
Black snake looked at his companion and knew he was about to go berserk. But he didn't say anything. He just stood and prepared himself for the inevitable clash.
Tejumole tilted her head and looked at the gigantic man in front of her.
"Hoho~ Someone's angry~"
"Oh."
"Oh? Girl, this dude is so close to bursting and all you say is oh? Hahaha…"
Tejumole ignored Aanu and pondered for a second if she should reply or just get the mission over with.
Her thoughts leaned towards the latter option, so she raised her blades and said to the five people in front of her.
"Come and find out."

In that instant, Tejumole disappeared from her spot. When she reappeared, she was behind Thunder Lizard, who stood at the back of the group.
She raised her blades and slashed down with the intent to kill. Her blades cut through his skin, injuring him, but not fatally.
Thunder Lizard had fairly good survival instincts. Therefore, when he felt the sharp pain, he threw himself onto the ground and escaped the fate of having his head severed.
With his heart beating thunderously in his chest, thunder lizard let out a cuss.
"The heck! F*ck!"
Though he dodged her attack, Tejumole had no intention of letting him go. Once again she stabbed her blades in his direction, but this time she was met with a pair of large hands bearing brass knuckles.
The force from their collision caused the brass knuckles to break, but savage king was undaunted. He pressed towards Tejumole without a care and made to grab her hand, but she jumped away and landed a distance from him.
Her actions were relaxed and natural. She didn't seem to find this battle tasking at all.
"He's strong." Ranta, who had remained silent for the entirety of the night, said from the space.
"Hmm." Tejumole agreed and watched the five men surrounding her. From her observations, the strongest among them was savage king. In addition to the group's excellent coordination with each other, it made this battle a little more tricky.
But this wasn't enough to faze Tejumole.
"Bang."
Savage king rushed at Tejumole again. His actions were crude but filled with killing intent. He missed his target and hit the ground instead. The power from his punch caused cracks to form on the paved road, showing that Savage king's strength had already reached a superhuman level.
Tejumole dodged the berserk man's attack and slid to the side to avoid another attack from Bullfrog.
She was besieged from all sides, and her opponents gave her no time to breathe. But she wasn't pressured. Even when fighting with such dangerous people, Tejumole could still hold her own.
She shuffled through their formation, evading fists, kicks and knives, and waited for an opportunity.
"Hmm…" Tejumole found the opening she was waiting for, and it caused her narrowed brown eyes to gleam.
"Let's end this."
