The King's Fall 2

"Let's end this."

Demon wolf appeared by her side and swung his machete at her. For a person with a portly stature, he was surprisingly agile.

Tejumole wondered for a moment where he had kept the machete but was more preoccupied with evading the attack.

After missing his target, Demon wolf swung his weapon once again and slashed a hidden knife towards her neck when he missed.

Tejumole crouched down and took advantage of his temporary incoordination to slice the tendons in his legs.

"Arghh…!" Demon wolf screamed and the pain caused him to buckle to his knees. When he fell, Tejumole wasted no time in slicing his neck open.

"Urk…" Demon wolf clasped his neck as his mouth filled with blood. Soon he fell to the ground and remained unmoving while blood pooled around him.

"Two."

(Congratulations. For eliminating a low-tier boss you have received 130 points.)

For every person she killed, the system would award her a hundred and thirty points. Tejumole was happy with the system's generosity. She was making a killing in this mission, receiving even more points than she had ever obtained from her previous missions.

"You b*stard!!" Killer ram shouted in anger. The vein on his forehead was so close to bursting, and it seemed to travel up and down his bald head.

He held a knife in his hand. It was small, like a pocket knife. Not very ideal for this type of fight.

After screaming, he charged at Tejumole.

She had just avoided a punch from Savage king, who at the moment only had eyes for Tejumole.

In his berserk state, he went after her like a starving wolf. He no longer cared for his safety and not even his comrade's death caused him to pause.

There was only a thought running in his mind. Kill. Eradicate the woman who destroyed his life's work.

"Teleportation."

Tejumole used this skill once again and disappeared from her spot. She appeared in front of the bald man and brought her blades to his neck.

However, his reaction was fast as he was quick to block her with his hands.

Unfortunately, his opponent was Tejumole whose strength had been boosted by the system. Ordinary people would find it impossible to withstand a blow from her.

Therefore, Killer Ram's action of using his arms to block her attack was a fatal mistake. When Tejumole's blades touched his arms, they sliced them cleanly apart and caused the disconnected limbs to fall to the ground. From the stumps, his blood gushed like fountains, and just as he opened his mouth to scream, Tejumole stabbed him in his chest.

Another one had fallen.

"Three."

Her tone had no ripples. Tejumole was calm. So calm that it made it seem like she was just cutting vegetables. And even with the blood spewing around, none spattered on her person. Her clothes were still as clean as they were from the beginning.

Tejumole turned and found a familiar fist hurling fast towards her face. Again, she evaded it and distanced herself from Savage King.

"This dude is so annoying."

"I know right?! He's like a fly buzzing around poo…"

"Oh, I know you're not about to call me what I'm thinking."

Ranta and Aanu: "…"

"Hmm. Now shut up."

"Tsk."

Tejumole ignored the noisy duo, who clamped up immediately, then locked onto her next target. A green-clothed man who was trembling and slowly backing away.

Seeing Tejumole look in his direction, he got so frightened that he turned around on his shaky legs and ran away in the opposite direction.

"You f*cker…" Black snake shouted as he watched his subordinate turn tail. Although he just deserted, Black snake didn't blame him. After all, he was contemplating doing the same thing.

However, he knew that running was useless. Their opponent this time was unlike anything they had ever seen.

His thoughts were proven correct when Tejumole disappeared from her position and appeared in front of the running man.

Thunder Lizard stopped harshly in his tracks and fell on his bottom. He used his hands to crawl backwards and watched Tejumole with terror-filled eyes. A look she had gotten used to receiving.

"N-no. No! Don't kill me! Plea…urk!"

She ignored his pleas and thrust her blade into his chest. Thunder Lizard widened his eyes in shock.

Understanding that he was going to die, the terror in his eyes faded and was replaced by unbridled hate.

With this look in his eyes, he lost his strength and slowly collapsed onto the paved road. Tejumole glanced at him briefly before looking away and walking towards the remaining two.

"Four."

She uttered impassively as she edged closer to the two. Savage king was standing in place with Black snake next to him. Though he still appeared livid, he wasn't as volatile as he was previously.

Instead, his gaze was fixated on the approaching lady who had destroyed his organization.

Tejumole stopped in her tracks. Just a few feet away from the two. Black snake looked at her with a relatively calm expression and began to speak.

"Are you not going to kill us? Obviously, you have the strength to do so. You could have taken us all out instantly, but you chose to put on this farce. Do you enjoy playing with your victims?"

Black snake knew there was little chance of leaving this place alive. He wanted to be calm, but he couldn't. He had lived the majority of his life in luxury. The business was booming, and he didn't have to worry about a thing. However, now, it seems he would meet his death today.

But he was unwilling. Very unwilling to just die like that after everything he had built with savage king over the decades. A successful man feared death just as much as any other individual. Perhaps even more so.

Glancing at the two, Tejumole parted her lips to respond.

"Yes. I will punish you with death. And no. I don't enjoy playing with my victims, but I was told to be less…serious."

She shrugged when she reached the last part. And although they didn't understand her meaning, they knew she was treating them like toys.

It irked them, but they were powerless.

"Are you going to wait obediently, or do we need to fight again?" She asked in a casual voice, looking at them both.

"Ha! What kind of man would just sit and wait for death? Come at me! I won't go down without a fight, woman!"

Savage King hit his chest and roared. He took Tejumole as a worthy opponent. One that would most possibly cause his demise. But he refused to back down without a fight. He was a man who would never bow to the enemy and fight to the bitter end.

Seeing Savage King's actions, Black snake became anxious and tried to mediate the situation.

"Let's not be hasty. We can still settle this amicably. Miss ugh… Miss punisher, why don't we become partners? You will have anything you ever dreamed of. To battle the underworld, you will need weapons. We have a lot, and we can get more for you. It's not ideal for you, a person of your calibre, to carry knives to a gunfight. We also have more experience in this area, so we would be a great help to your missions. Not to mention the amount of information we can provide you with. What do you say?"

Black snake had laid all his cards on the table. It was a last-ditch effort to save his life. So, he hoped they could reach an agreement.

Tejumole checked her watch. It was already 3:07 am. Luckily, she didn't have a class tomorrow, but even still she would rather not waste any more time here. Her child was home alone, after all.

"I don't need partners or weapons. I have enough experience and everything I require. Just focus on your transition to the afterlife."

She finished and activated another skill.

[Activate skill: Enforcer's tongue

(Enforcer's Tongue LV2 EXP: 1/40- this skill allows the host to influence the target's actions with her voice.

—Controls the target for 7 minutes.

—Influences the target's basic physical actions. More complex actions like dancing or running are impossible at this stage, so forget about it!)]

"Kneel." At her command, the two lost control of their bodies and fell to the ground. Unexpectedly, they couldn't move at all and could only stare begrudgingly at the lady now crouching in front of them.

"Gbenga Ebenezer alias Savage King. Ibrahim Lekan alias Black snake. Ages, 60 and 57 respectively. Founder and co-founder of the notorious Erujeje group. For forty decades, you have terrorized the citizens of this nation. Killing, plundering, r*pe, and weapons trafficking among other crimes. Your actions have brought pain and misfortune to many people. So much so that safety against the Erujeje group has now become a common prayer point for Christians and Muslims alike. You have murdered people in their thousands. Men, women, and children alike have suffered due to the mayhem and destruction you brought. So tell me if you deserve to be punished."

Still squatting in front of the duo, Tejumole gazed into their eyes and released her control over their mouths, so they could speak.

Savage king watched her with a rigid stare. Instead of answering, he said.

"Every action I took and everything I achieved, I did with my own hard work. The strong prey on the weak. Don't blame me for the weakness of others and the incompetence of your justice system to catch me after all these years." Savage king was unrepentant.

"Do you deserve to be punished?"

She asked again, treating his words as air as she slashed her blade across his face. Him ignoring her question caused her to feel impatient. Yet, Savage king gritted his teeth and refused to speak.

Sensing his resistance, Tejumole placed a hand under her chin.

"The sinners refuse to acknowledge their sins. To uphold justice, I will send them on their path to the underworld. There, they shall be judged according to their crimes."

Saying that she wasted no time and made a slash on savage king's neck. Even until death, his gaze remained firm, and he didn't cower in the face of his end. Tejumole even thought he seemed relieved.

The King had fallen.

She turned to Black snake, who looked at her with frightful eyes.

She raised her hand to end it all but Black snake spoke up in a hurry, stopping her action.

"I'm guilty! I deserve to be punished! Don't k-kill me!" He spoke in a panic. Maybe she wouldn't kill him if he agreed with her. This was what he thought, but the reality was different.

"You have acknowledged your sins and conceded to receiving punishment. For all your sins and transgressions, I set you free by guiding your path to reincarnation. Rest in peace."

"No. No! Don't! Urk…!"

Black snake's voice was cut off by a slash to his throat. He regained control of his body and brought his hand to his neck. However, his actions were useless.

In a matter of seconds, he fell to the ground and ceased his movements. The last thing he saw was the night sky. It was as dark as death that was slowly embracing him.

"Five. Six."
