Chapter 102

The evening after the blow-up with Poppy, Roman could tell she was still upset with him. She hadn't even spoken to him through dinner and avoided him at all costs throughout the night.

After his family had all gone to sleep, Roman snuck down the hall, trying his best to not wake her brother who was asleep in a chair at the end of the hallway, and apparently not doing a good job at keeping watch. No matter. He had enough people on staff at his parent's house to start a war in need be and he knew he had been bothered by Chanel since he arrived. The poor guy was probably exhausted. Poppy was in the safest place she could be, and that's what matted.

Slipping into the room, he walked to the window to let in a little light from the full moon. Her sweet scent of the new lilac perfume permeated through the space, enveloping his very being and making him want her even more.
