Before he could get out the words, she was walking over, taking a spoon to taste the substance, just like everyone else. In his eyes, it was like some sort of ritual that he was witnessing. When his eyes scanned the room, he saw it. There were people there wearing a red pins. One that made his stomach turn.

"The Eye of the Serpent… It's here," he whispered to himself. When across the room he caught a glimpse of someone he thought had on a visor like his grandfather had he went into a panic. Looking around the room suddenly everything started to spin as his anxiety took hold. When he finally caught sight of Remi, he was too late to tell her not to try whatever was in that vat.

When her head turned to him, she looked almost sick and her skin a little greenish in tone. All he could see was her terrified eyes, and her lips moving, saying, "It's blood."

Seeing Remi rush away, and people around her laughing, he chased after her. "Remi!"
