Irene Nadine's POV
My calm words made Ryan Campbell frown. Then he said, "anything else is okay. Divorce is not allowed."
I sneered, "no way? How far do you want a divorce? Do you want me to die too?"
All of a sudden, Ryan Campbell's eyes narrowed. The word "also" made him understand something. Only then did he find that his heart was so fragile that he felt a little suffocated.
But he didn't give up and asked, "where is the child?"
His voice was hoarse and his eyes were a little unfocused, as if he couldn't accept the fact. I was afraid that I would be softhearted under his reaction. I looked away, calmly took out a few pieces of paper from the drawer and handed them to him.
When Ryan Campbell looked at these papers, he felt as if the world was collapsing at one point one, but he felt more sorry to bear all these alone these days.
