"What are you doing?"
"The divorce agreement will be sent to your company tomorrow morning. After we sign it, we will have nothing to do with each other. Don't care about what happened in the past. Just pretend that we haven't met each other."
"I can't do it."
"That's your business."
Ryan Campbell had never been so humble in his life, but in return, I still wanted to leave. He took a deep breath, looked down and asked, "have you really loved me?"
My nose twitched. I frowned and tried to hold back the tears in my eyes. "Maybe not."
Ryan Campbell smiled with self mockery and loosened his grip on my luggage. He said, "come back when you're done. I'll wait for you at home this time."
I didn't look back because I was afraid that he would see the tears on my face.
When I walked out of the door, I didn't feel relieved. Standing in the elevator with tears streaming down, I felt a little helpless. The gap between the happiness I imagined and the reality made me feel a little tired.
