'The worst pain someone could imagine is just that, you could.. never know what truly is the worst pain, until you experience it yourself'.
'That is why most never wish to imagine it, or rather can't. Pain is something that, no matter how strong you are, can turn even gods into nothing more then a mess of tears.. isn't that right..'
On two distant fields, full of madness and chaos crys could be heard. These two fields, even if they are on the same planet and one only need to ride a few miles to meet. They felt like they were worlds apart. In these fields of endless screams, a man and woman sat an thought to themselves as if even being worlds apart. They would know each other's heart and mind.
'Even if I meet my end here.. if I could..'.
'Have one wish, it would be to see your face..'.
'One more time..'
Both these peoples thoughts were not on the screams, nor the bodies around them. even with a mountain of bodies, the flags that burned or even the massive weapons not fit for a human.
They could think about all this, but no, their minds were only focused on one thing, to see that person again. The one that could calm the fear and bring peace to their hearts.
"It looks like I, will be the one who won't come home this time.. but we both knew this didn't we? Or at least I did my love." In the middle of one of these plains, a figure could be seen. Their messy blonde hair blowing, their hand sinking in the ground that had spilled blood like a river. The swords, spears, and many other weapons that were stabbed into the mud. Only added to the dread of the situation at hand.
Their breathing was slow, while the sun finally showed it's glow from behind the clouds. Their head lifted to look up to the beautiful sight, while their green eyes shined so brightly. The world seemed to stand still just to take in this moment.
Even so their smooth white skin, covered in blood, their face having noticeable scars and their once clean hair now covered in mud. With a figure molded in armor, it wasn't hard to tell she was a woman and even as her army lay dead. Even while she knelt bleeding, surrounded and dying, she couldn't help but smile.
"Until we meet again.." The words leaving her mouth as sounds of flesh and blood rang out, her head hanging low as the weapons pushed into the dirt, mud and bodies below her.
[Flash Forward]
Yet again, nothing has changed and here we find another open plain. This time, there were no screams or sounds of battle. There was nothing to be heard for miles and miles. In this field, on a hill were a rock sat overlooking the massive valley below. A figure could be seen, the clouds over head seemed to want to cover up this sight from the world. The wind blew as strands of red could be seen, the vibrant color of the mans long red hair, mixed well with the green of the grass below his feet.
He sat with his legs apart, a large, fully red claymore in front of his face. Yet he only leaned forward on it, his head touching the hilt as he looked up slowly. Looking out at what was in front of him, down to the open fields below before he shut his eyes, once again lowering his head. His body was not bulky, even in full armor, his body had more of a mature build but his height of 4 meters made him hard to miss.
'Is it.. enough yet?'
While he sat on this rock, in this silent field. His head shook a little, a voice that seemed to be carried by the wind. Found it's way to his ears, feeling a gentle touch on his face. Once again he lifted his head, his eyes with out emotion and his face forever calm. While he looked down at a figure in front of him, it's long blonde hair blowing and green eyes shining as if trying to take all the beauty from the world.
"Even now, my mind still will not let me forget.. of course. I could never forget, even if I lived a thousand more life times." The mans voice rang out, deep and calm while he moved his hand in front of himself. The image of the woman, disappearing in the wind. Only leaving a sad look, before disappearing completely.
*sigh. The mans eyes didn't change but looked down at the ground, his claymore sinking a little as his heart slowed even more.
"So you have finally come, again? but tell me, did you come for the same reason? the same reason you always come?" After a pause, the man spoke once more, his deep voice filling the silent air around himself. His head looking up to the sky as he heard the sounds of armor.
The sounds of the stone walkway that led to this place echoing with their every step. "It is as you say.. look at what you have done. You can.." a gentle voice spoke this time, it carried something in it familiar to the man. The words slow as the person looked out at the field, pausing for a moment as the man finally looked at them.
The mans eyes, looked over the person who had come to this place. Their red hair and green eyes, their armor that shined a brilliant gold even without the sun. His eyes still cold but he could not hide the softness that came when he saw this woman.
"It is.. already done.. do not do this again, Morgan.." his words came out with a hint of sadness in his voice as he looked away from her.
Morgan who heard and saw this. Bit her lip as she looked at his long hair blow in the wind. "I can not stand by.. not even for you!" After building up strength, she slightly yelled at the man, while she saw his eyes shift to her once more.
"I need you not to do anything for me, I never have.. but you will not stop me, Morgan. Even with that.." the man said as his eyes looked at two more figures that walked behind Morgan. One with reddish blonde hair and the other with pure blonde. A man and a woman, then to Morgan's sword she held with a tight grip.
"It will not bring her back! None of this will!" The reddish blonde haired person spoke, but this time it came out in a some what deep manor, not gentle like Morgan had spoke before . This young man yelled at the man after hearing the answer, that all of them heard before.
The mans eyes moved to the younger man besides Morgan, his eyes just as soft as with the woman who stood next to him. "Mhm, Maybe.. Bulhder." He only spoke a few words, turning his head to the last of the three as his eyes became sad.
The last figure, looked away as the man spoke. Looking at the sadness in the man's eyes before speaking. "I.. no we, we all miss her.." the figures voice soft but beautiful as she looked at him finally, eye to eye.
Morgan seeing the man said nothing, looked at him as she saw the sad look in his eyes grow. Only to shake that feeling as her eyes filled with resolve and gripped the swords hilt. "It is enough, we can no longer sit idol while you.. while you rip her lands apart.. she would not want this."
"I do all this for her.. for," the man looked at them sharply as he gripped the rock below him, cracking it before calming down again.
"No it is not! You do all this because you can't let that feeling go! That pain! She would not want you to feel this way! But look at what you've done! This beautiful land she loved so much, look at it!.. Father!" Each figure added a part as they pointed to the once green fields, now covered in fire, blood and bodies.
The man looked out at the land as he stopped speaking, his eyes glowing red as he felt a hand once again touch his face. Looking to his left, away from his children as the figure stood there. Silence fell as each looked at the fields below and felt the wind blow, only for the siblings to stop as they heard something come from their fathers mouth. Hearing a tone and smooth sound they hadn't heard for a life time.
"All I ever wanted was to find someone.. But holding it together is the hardest part.. I'll never forget even when your away, when the sun shines while I long to see your face, I only wish you would stay.." the names voice gentle as he slowly stood up from the rock.
