"To what do I owe the honour of receiving you here, Commander?"

Chiaki was nothing without her wits, and she used them today in an envisioned intellectual banter between her and this nosy commander.

He would probably, well, most definitely, know about the gossip circulating around the court, because in Chiaki's mind, he was the one who spread it anyway. Who knew that Lady Kayla was here probably only for a diplomatic mission, but this commander, who saw that destroying Lance and Chiaki's marriage as his personal agenda, would twist it into a love story.

See, System? He didn't even bother with pleasantries although technically he should respect me as a human being.

"What made you think that way?" Chiaki turned her back and allowed him to sit in the living room.
