Chapter 8

I leaned into Dale's embrace and we sat on the rock for a while longer. There were droplets of water dripping off the rocks in the dimness. One after another, very rhythmic. I calmed my mind, trying my best to be able to calm down on the eve of the big battle. Despite the fact that my nightmare had only a small reference to reality, I was led by fear.

"You're really okay, right?"

I gave a hard smile and nodded toward her, "I'm fine, it's just a nightmare."

I said this, but in my heart, I was discussing with Tefnut how to give the other side a big lesson, in order to be able to increase some success rate, I already plan to lure the enemy to a place with fewer people, or just simply some, directly ambushed, to engage in a raid-like behavior, so that the other side could not react in time to suffer his heavy damage.

That kind of achievement and picture during the battle rehearsal restored some of my confidence, and now I had the heart to tease Dale.
