Chapter 56 Arctic Waters, 64° 57′ 0″ N, 19° 0′ 0″ W Keflavik Airport

Andalas was looking around for a car that could be "borrowed". He saw an open-backed SUV and from its look, it had been there for a while. Before carrying out the "borrowing" process, Andalas first slid the tracking device into the pocket of the guard who was still unconscious.

The SUV moved slowly down the pier. Because of the Harbormaster's logo, no one was suspicious, although it was unusual for a car wandering in the harbor at dawn.

Andalas stopped his car not far from the gate. His sharp eyes scanned both directions. One to Hantaa 05 waiting for the four people to get off the ship, and the other to the Harbormaster's office.

They all crammed into the car, they could see from a distance there were dozens of men in black tactical suit raiding the Harbormaster's office. Andalas stepped on the gas gently. It was as if nothing had happened.

After passing through the harbor gate safely, Andalas drove fast toward the airport. Leaving a commotion in the Harbourmaster's office as the invading troops found nothing but an unconscious guard in his chair.

"Are they after us?" Cecilia asked as she continued to look behind her. Akiko was also in an alert position when she answered.

"No. But I'm sure they'll keep looking."

Captain Shinji and First mate Yoshido could only look at each other. What are they got themselves into?

Suddenly Andalas pulled over near the square. Signaling for the others to wait in the car. He got off and sneaked towards a car parked not far from the shops that were still closed.

In less than 5 minutes, Andalas came over in a station wagon and waved for them to get into the car.

Both Captain Shinji and First mate Yoshido were dumbfounded. Akiko and Cecilia were amused to see their faces. Akiko was sure there would be one more switch.

Sure enough. Once they had driven away from the square heading out of town but not to the direction of the airport, Andalas stopped the car not far from a large police station!

Akiko giggled unable to hold back a laugh. Andalas's intention was to eliminate their tracks by driving around and changing cars. But was he planning to steal a police car? Crazy!

Cecilia laughed along. She had just finished booking their flight from Keflavik to Geneva in one hour. And they were now waiting for another car change. Again, Cecilia laughed. Andalas was too paranoid.

This time Andalas borrowed a double cabin car belonging to the police. Again, they had to jostle. But no one complained because it was life and death situation. Eliminating traces and delaying the search was necessary so that they could fly before the police managed to track down several missing cars in consecutive time.

Cecilia and Akiko just breathed a sigh of relief after they boarded the first flight to Geneva at 5 a.m. local time. Andalas even had time to park the stolen police car in the most secluded area in the parking lot before finally gasping for air catching them on the plane.

Cecilia booked the main cabin for the five of them. The trip would take approximately 6 hours with one transit. This time Cecilia chose a plane that transited in Frankfurt and not London. They passed through the British capital several times. It was possible they had been listed as wanted people by the London police because of the Heathrow case some time ago.

Cecilia took a deep breath after the plane leaving Iceland mainland for Frankfurt. The plane was quite full. And again, Cecilia saw Andalas rising from his seat several times when the plane was already at the cruising altitude.

The guy really put vigilance as his number one priority.

Akiko hummed a Japanese song. Captain Shinji and First mate Yoshido were seen smiling broadly. It was a popular children's song in Japan when spring began.

A song that described a joyful feeling. The two men didn't know why Akiko was so happy. Only Cecilia knew exactly why. The reason was that man who had just walked past to inspect the business and economy cabins for the umpteenth time.

Andalas was not satisfied at all. His heart was not calm. He found nothing in the economy and business cabins. It was too quiet. Calm situation made him very suspicious that something big could be happening.

The aircraft was slightly shaken several times entering Germany airspace. But the weather was bright and sunny. People thought maybe the plane was experiencing Clear Air Turbulence. But Andalas' hunch worked. Something was going on onboard. Especially after he saw a flight attendant rushing to the front and knocking on the cockpit door and sneaking inside. Also in a hurry.

In the cockpit, the flight attendant took a seat in the empty copilot's seat. While the copilot had taken over the helm of the plane.

In the spare seat at the back of the cockpit, the pilot seated stiffly.

The flight attendant smiled at the copilot.

"So, we stick to the plan?"

Copilot turned and spoke briefly.

"Yup! As ordered by the OWC. We are turning toward Grozny."
