Diego felt nervous and jittery. It was one thing for Germaine to have pictures of him and Angela together. The fact that Germaine knew her name and who she was could put her in grave danger. If Mayor Page ever made a move against Germaine, Angela would be his first target.
So now, in addition to everything else Diego had on his plate, he was going to have to make sure nothing happened to her. Late that night, he drove over to her place. He knew the route like the back of his hand. She never left the apartment they’d lived in together.
He still had his old key to the building, and rolled his eyes at the fact that the super had never taken the time to change the locks. He’d worry about that later. First, he needed to set up cameras around the building. He placed one at every entrance, and several around the hallway of Angela’s apartment. He wanted to make sure that if anyone went in or out, he’d be able to see them from every angle.
