Chapter 46: Tears That Fall

The tension in the room was reaching a boiling point. Angela felt like she was going to burst into tears and she hadn’t done anything wrong.

Finally, Germaine said, “Timothy Braiden, better known to us as ‘Tubbs’ has been selling our information to the police department for months.”

“Boss, I didn’t-”

“Shut up,” Germaine growled fiercely. It was the first time Angela had ever really seen him angry. It was terrifying.

He walked over to where Tubbs was still seated and leaned in close to his face. “You have been feeding information to the police for months. When I was at the precinct last night, I got all the proof I needed.”
