"No!" Heleh yelled out in frustration. His grip was slipping, his hand was too sweaty.
"Hold on!" *slip* William's hands slipped off of Heleh's, causing him to fall into the canyon. His body made a thud when he hit the ground, and died on impact. But he died smiling, that was 6 years ago.
Heleh was now 17, and has enrolled into the Grande Magic School. Heleh knew no one at the school, he had no friends.
The school would be ranking students on their magical abilities. There were 3 tests, the first was a physical test. The second one was how long you could release mana for. And the last one was just to fire your most powerful spell. In test one, Heleh got an A. In the second test he got a B, and in the last test he got an A. Heleh was a good wizard. Wizard is what a male magic user is called.
The following will be ranked from weakest to strongest. Trickster, Magician, Wizard/Witch, Arc-wizard/witch, Mana manipulator.
Mana manipulators are very rare, but with hard work, regular people can reach that stage. Heleh had worked hard to become a wizard. But one man stood out, Kamesh. He got straight S's across the board, so he became an Arc-wizard. Kamesh saw Heleh looking at him, and started walking towards him.
"Hi there, would you like to form a party?"
"Well, I mean sure."
"Ok, under the bridge on the east side of the city. 8:00PM." Kamesh whispered into Heleh's ears. "What does he mean under the bridge!? Is he gonna fight me?" These thoughts flew around all over his mind.
Then, at the bridge. Heleh got there at 8:03PM, and saw Kamesh sitting under the bridge eating a sandwich. Heleh sat down next to him, and he offered Heleh some. Heleh declines his offer.
"Why'd you call me here?"
"Remember 6 years ago, when your village was attacked by some bandits? I lived in that village too."
"You lived in my village?"
"Yeah."
Heleh was caught off guard by his statement. He didn't think anyone from his village survived.
"I need to tell you something, and listen closely."
"Ok, what is it?"
"If you grow close to someone, protect and cherish them as if they were family. Keep anybody who's close to you safe. That's all."
Kamesh dropped a smoke bomb and disappeared in the smoke. "What does he mean by that?" Heleh thought. He thought that if they were close to him he would obviously protect them, so he just shrugged his statement off. But he will grow to regret this.
When walking back to his dorm, he saw a girl from his school about to be assaulted behind a building. The girl wore a white leather shirt, with a corset. A robe over that, with long pants and black boots.
"Get off me!" The girl screamed out.
"Wow, assaulting kids now. Go assault someone older, or just don't be an asshole."
Heleh got up next to the man, the man wore a leather shirt, and baggy leather pants with black shoes. He was also a big man, but not with muscles. Heleh kicked him off the girl, the man was sent flying into a wall. Heleh looked back at the girl.
"Are you okay?"
"Um yeah."
Heleh then pushed the girl and he backed away from her. Then the man came flying past them, he probably leaped for Heleh. Heleh runs up to the man and starts kicking his face, body, arms and legs. After the beating, the man was nothing more than a bloody mess.
"What's your name?"
"My name is Suzuni, what's yours?"
"Heleh, Heleh Yar."
Suzuni thought more about his name. She figures that he was from the east, because odd names like that are common there.
"Umm, thank you for helping me!" She says while bowing continuously.
"Oh it's nothing, really."
"Would you like to come by my place? I can repay you with food."
"Well, alright. I am really hungry."
"Really!" She said while getting up close to Heleh. Heleh started looking down and her breasts were pressed up against him.
"Ummm, yeah. No problem."
Suzuni then takes Heleh to her dorm, where she makes some beef curry and rice. After eating her cooking, it reminded him about his mother's cooking. His eyes started to tear up.
"Hey what's wrong, your eyes are watery?"
"Oh it's nothing."
"Oh ok."
"Well, I should get back to my place."
"Ok, bye!"
Once back at his dorm, he started crying. He couldn't stop thinking about his mother.
The next day, Disaster struck.
