A Day at the Office

Before doing anything suspicious Min-kay rushed back to his room, Sinika also got curious about him as if she heard this voice before. Min-kay initially thought to clean a little bit of the apartment's bedroom for him to just sleep the night but after going through the mishap, he cleaned the entire apartment from the bedroom to the kitchen and also the bathroom, to clear his mind Min-kay tends to do that from time to time, in his home he didn't get to do that a lot so he used clean the drain by his house with bleaching powder.

After a tiring day he slept like a baby, he doesn't need to wake up early as his office hours is from 1 pm to 10 pm but woke up at 8 am, usually he woke up around that time. After doing the morning chores he went out to check the neighborhood and had a little breakfast of tea and toast. The weather had black clouds and was windy, he finds the combination best to enjoy, he stares at the sky most of the time looking for clouds as if it was his escape from this shit hole, at this point he doesn't even like to spend lots of time outside doing nothing effective, he thought of doing something meaningful with his life but neither he has the skills nor he has the mind to do anything. After wandering for a while, he went back to his room and got ready for the first day at the office, the office was 10 min walking distance from the Grand side, after walking into the office he went straight to the assigned cubicle and find his new workspace, he logged in there and the desktop was highly configured with the latest hardware so it was pretty smooth after setting up his desktop he went to visit his reporting manager whom he had a conversation with about reporting and stuff. The manager was sitting on his desktop doing work he knocked 'Hello Mr. Gaya! I am Min-kay from Dev Team reporting for the office, hopefully, you are doing well' Mr. Gaya welcomed him with a firm handshake and asked him about his traveling, boardings, and other generic stuff and Min-kay politely conversed with him and took his leave from his cabin after that he went to look for office supply room basically this room contains all confectionaries, beverage, and other basic food supplies so he went there and met a couple of guys having coffee so went past them and made some green tea because that is recommended from the internet to have if you have abdominal fat, as he was drinking they had completed drinking their beverage and got off the room, Min-kay also finished his beverage and went off the room and got to his seat but now he saw those two guys sitting in adjacent position from him, so Min-kay asked are you also from Dev Team, and they introduced themselves in a composed manner, Min-kay recalled their names as they were working in Virtual mode and several interactions online , but couldn't map the face from online pic with real , they were pretty good looking guy and after showing couple of things they went to their sit and started working and Min-kay also started looking into mails and other stuff, after an hour or so another member sat in the opposite seat facing Min-kay's back and the two guys immediately stood up went to greet her , since it was the first day for all the member of the team to report to the office, earlier all of them started working for the company in Virtual mode and the two guys were interacting with that employee and it was visible they were interested in her, Min-kay was busy listening to song while doing some work and couldn't notice that anyone entering the cubicle and sat opposite him, after a while she knocked his seat's lumbar and uttered 'excuse me! Are you Min-kay? I am Keya' Min-kay noticed the vibration and felt his seat being touched turned around and noticed her and thought she was pretty and looked at the two guys looking at her and it was conclusive, Keya had fair skin and a beautiful face, Min-kay introduced himself 'Hello I am Min-kay! Nice to meet you' she replied 'We are having lunch at the cafeteria as this is our first day, care to join us?' he replied 'I had lunch already, please go ahead without me' she replied 'Ok'. Min-kay knows one thing, don't spend unnecessary time with anybody. He turned to his desktop and started browsing, the team consisted of 5 members 3 he already met and most of them have been working for a long time, Min-kay joined recently like a month ago, so he had no idea how these people operate, The two guys were proud of their looks they hit the gym, talk in a cool manner and wore a lot of cologne basically they were into their looks and style and they went together for lunch and came together also, Min-kay went to breakout room for a while after completing all of his tasks to think and search in internet about any news reported about 10 men being beat to shreds, and he got one article which verifies the details Sarika told him about, apparently, they were part of local gangs who extort, theft, kidnap and did all kinds of wrongdoings that are illegal. So the story matched but Min-kay knew he have no martial arts or fighting skills to outdo 10 men, he plan to log out earlier as he don't want to work for long on his first day and he had to do some shopping before living the office premises, he went to the washroom and heard two guys in the back of the toilet talking about Keya 'Let's bring her to a club, she is behaving like hard to get, if we spend some money on her, we can have our ways with her' the other guy replied ' I have some ecstasy, we will spike her drink, she will not be able to refuse even if she wants to'.
