Someone Is Picking Me Up

Anton got into the car and the last thing I saw was his silver eyes. He glanced at me and it was such a cold look of disgust that prevented me from getting any closer to him at that moment. My body had frozen in place

With just one look, all the coldness seemed to have been carved into my soul. I sat on the ground in defeat. That unconcealable killing intent shattered all my hopes and froze my determination.

He didn't recognize me. Perhaps I'd been wandering for too long and my smell was completely covered by the sour smell of mud and garbage.

When I looked up again, I couldn't even see the exhaust of Anton's car anymore. I sat on the ground, my heart feeling like it had fallen into an endless deep pool. The feelings of despair surged into my heart like a storm. I had been abandoned by the whole world, even my mate didn't want me.

Hart walked over to help me up, but I pushed him away. "Stop pretending. Weren't you having fun watching the show just now?"
