[Ellie's P.O.V.]
Mrs. Kerry's body stiffened, then she started to tremble. She was hiding her anger. She suddenly stood up and shouted at Myron, "I'm asking my son a question. Why are you interrupting? Even if he's wrong, it's not up to you to speak for him!"
I protected Myron behind me and glared at Mrs. Kerry. She was too hot-tempered, getting angry whenever someone tried to disobey her. She was completely different from her sister.
"Mrs. Kerry, you are scaring my son. He's just telling the truth," said I loudly.
"The truth?" The she-wolf in red suddenly joined the conversation. "Madam, you shouldn't be in such a hurry to come to a conclusion. There has to be something to prove that our children stole from Daisy, right?"
I was slightly taken aback. This red-dressed she-wolf used my words against me. I was a little upset. I had been too anxious to protect Myron.
