Kirk did not have any objections. Abby and Rowling, on the other hand, remained silent.

In a blink of an eye, it was D-day. We were still talking and laughing in the hotel that morning as if it was just another peaceful day. When the afternoon came around, Kirk left the hotel alone. Abby put her hands on her waist and said that she would cook dinner for us. Despite the smile on her face as she prepped the ingredients, I could still sense her worry. Rowling decided to play along as well.

We continued our lives as usual. Anton wasn't by my side, nor did he go to the office to read his documents. Instead, he went to the top floor to make a phone call. I couldn't hear anything, but he was probably giving orders to Olly.

The sky gradually darkened and our hearts started to beat faster. I looked at the sky and convinced myself that our plan would succeed.
