[Ally Black's Point of View]
"So, that's what he said." I gave my friend, Emma, a bored look.
Apparently, the three of them, Emma, Emily and Carrie went to pick on Haru today, and it backfired.
"Yes! He insulted us!" Emily exclaimed us.
"So?" I stood up from the chair I was sitting on. "You guys dug your own grave. I never told you to bother him, nor did I tell you to pick on him."
I turned to look at Carrie who was calmly observing the two girls as the whined.
Carrie had always been the more still-minded and calm in our little group.
"I didn't expect that from you, Carrie." I looked at her intensely, trying to know what's going through her mind.
"What do you mean?" She turned her gaze to me.
"You're the eldest among us. Yet, you decided to join them in their little bullying session? You're mature enough to know how stupid that idea is." I narrowed my eyes at her.
"I didn't join them." She blankly said. "I told them not to go, but they still did. I couldn't leave them alone like that."
"But..." She began again. "I saw Haru today at the library."
A sudden curiosity came above me as I nodded my head, urging her to continue.
"He was drawing multiple sketches of the same girl. Probably someone he knew." She said, deep in thought. "Are you sure he's still crushing on you? Because, by the attention of details in each picture, he seems to really like this girl."
"Well," I tried to seem okay. "I don't care. I never was, or will be attracted to him, so he can go behind someone else."
But in truth, I was pissed that I wasn't his center of attention anymore.

I walked through the hallways when suddenly a hand grabbed me and pulled me to an empty classroom.
It was Oliver and Carrie.
"What is it, Oliver?" I smirked and crossed my arms over my chest. "Got bored of Mia so came to me?"
"Shut up, bitch." He rolled his eyes. "Do you have any idea what's happening?"
"I know that things aren't going well with you and Mia." I copied his eye-roll.
"Can you stop acting like a brat for five fucking seconds?!" He roared. "Mia broke up with me, and didn't just stop there! She made our affair an entire scandal now and everyone's against us now!"
"Okay, so? It's just for a few days-"
"You don't get it!" He interrupted me. "It's not just the sex-scandal! A video of you outside Haru's house went viral, and now everyone's bashing us even more saying that we got bored with each other and are now looking for 'new prey' as they put it."
"Video- what video?" I uncrossed my arms and stood straight.
"You seriously don't know anything." He took out his phone before pressing a few buttons and showing it to me.
The video showed my drunk self outside Haru's door, banging it and begging him to fuck me.
"H-How-"
"Oh, save it." He shoved his phone back into his pocket. "That jerk, Haru, messed everything up."
"I'm not sure how anything was Haru's fault." Carrie finally spoke up. "If anything, none of this would have happened if Ally didn't drink and you were loyal to Mia."
"Stop taking his side, Carrie." Oliver snarled.
"Whatever." She rolled her eyes.
"Now isn't the time to argue." I pinched the bridge of my nose.
"Ally's right." Oliver sighed. "Now, our top priority is to get rid of Haru."
"And, how exactly do you plan on doing that?" Carrie narrowed her eyes at him.
"I don't really know-" He sighed. "If only we could find a way to break his heart in front of everyone, then he'll be too embarrassed to show his face ever again. You said he has a crush on you, right?"
"Had a crush on her-" Carrie was interrupted by me.
"What was that girl you were saying- the girl he was drawing a sketch of?"
"What girl?" Oliver chimed in. "Is there something I don't know of?"
"Carrie saw Haru drawing multiple sketches of this girl in the library and it seems like he has taken a liking of her. As long as that girl is in his mind, we ain't getting anywhere near to breaking his heart." I explained.
"Well, then let's find out about this magical pony that's got him wrapped around her finger so good." Oliver walked outside the door as I went to follow behind.
"I don't have a good feeling about this, Ally." Carrie mumbled.
"Not like you have an option." I rolled my eyes and followed behind Oliver.
[Dolores Miller's Point of View]
"Ready?" My brother lend me a hand.
"Si." I smiled, grabbing his hand and stepping out the limousine and to the giant mansion that was booming with lights, faint chatter and the smell of fresh wine.
I circled my hand around my brother's arm as we walked in, being welcomed by the all-too-familiar people of the ball, as one of them approached us.
"Denver, mi amigo!" A middle-aged man smiled. "How have you been?"
"I have been well, by the grace of the goddess." My brother smiled. "And you?"
"I am been just as well!" The man turned his gaze to me and gave me a friendly smile. "This must be your hermana."
"Si," I smiled. "Dolores."
"And I am Pablo, though you needn't introduce yourself, my dear." He waved his hand, in a joking dismissive manner, "You are quite popular here. And quite beautiful as well." He smiled. "My wife would love you. She loved to see future queens. Only the goddess knows where you'll be tomorrow, but it'll truly be some place great! "
I smiled politely as he excused himself, just as an awfully familiar face walked up.
"Hello, Denver, mi amigo." Steven put his hand on my brother's shoulder.
"Steven, how have you been?" My brother smiled.
"Your sister might know, saying that she met me just a few days ago." Steven smirked.
My brother turned to me, confused.
"It's nothing, hermano. He just showed up to check in on me, as we haven't spoke for a while." I smiled. Like hell I'm gonna tell him about that jerk.
"Ah yes, I see you haven't told your brother about my visit? I presume you haven't told him about that university student you've taken interest in." Steven smirked wider.
Wide-eyed, I turned to face him.
"How did he know!"
"I was just passing by the old park when I saw her sitting on a bench with him. They seemed to be having a very deep conversation." He put his hand up in surrender.
"What university student, Dolores?" My brother turned to me, deadly serious before I could say anything.
"I'll leave you two to it." Steven nodded his head, walking away.
"Dolores, what's happening?" My brother turned me towards him.
"It's nothing, I just met this university student and Diana deemed to take a liking towards him- and that day he just seemed down and she wouldn't leave me alone until I approached him." I spoke, faster than I meant to, feeling guilty of putting Diana on the spot.
"Does he-"
"Does he know? No, he doesn't." I interrupted him.
"That's not my question." Denver gently took my chin, making me look at his eyes. "Does he make you happy?"
"W-well," I paused. "Diana has been happier since we met him-"
"I'm not asking about Diana!" My brother slightly yelled, but not too loud to gain attention. "Duke has talked to Diana and she is seems happier than usual. I'm asking if he makes you happy. You."
"I-" I looked down, letting my hair slowly fall to cover my face. "Its hard for me to resist these feeling, hermano. Especially as the goddess hasn't blessed me with a lover yet, to a point where I believe I'm meant to die alone. He gives me hope that maybe I can find someone who will make me happy before time ends."
"Then that's all I need." I looked up to see Denver smiling down at me. "Don't stop until your satisfied, mi reina."
~~~
"What?!" I roared, startling the handful of men in the room.
"Si, padre!" One of them looked up to meet my gaze. "He got a job at a local grocery shop to pay off his bills."
"It's not that big of a deal, Doll." My brother laughed from the sofa he was sitting on. "He's standing on his own feet to put food on the table. He independent, and I respect that."
"But hermano! How can I be put to ease knowing he's working at a place where women can check him out, and since their his customers, he can't even say otherwise!"
"Well, do you have a better option? Its clear he wants to work." He smiled.
"Well," I said, thoughtfully. "I have an idea, but you will not approve of it."
"Are you sure it'll work?"
"I'll make it work, Diana."
