The city square was the most happening place in Troth, especially in the morning hours. It was an extensive public area with lush-green parks, live fountains, colorful gardens, and cobbled paths. Around every corner, food vendors and merchants were perched, selling eatables, refreshments, and trinkets to passersby.
The city square was perhaps the only place in Troth, not rudely interrupted by skyscrapers. You could quickly lose track of time and spend an entire day there.
Piper and Noah sat across from each other at a rectangular park table. A small fountain sparkled near them. The sun was pleasant and the temperature mild.
"Nom Nom."
Piper was busy with a foot-long hot dog, which he nibbled at greedily.
"Stop making that annoying noise," Noah said with a cringe. "Don't cyborgs get fat due to overeating?"
