In a futuristic star system dominated by superior races, a human researcher develops God Formula, a technology that paves the way to omnipotence. However, as fate would have it, something goes horribly wrong. His dream of human emancipation is not realized. 

Centuries later, an ordinary boy, obsessed with video games and oblivious of the epic events of the past, is catapulted into a treacherous world where hybrids, cyborgs, and mages eclipse the weaker races. Born physically weak and clumsy, the boy walks into an age of technology in which the real world is no different from a video game!

The Fellowship members waited outside a hundred-foot tall tower. 


"Whoa, so this is the headquarters of Troth City Watch!" Nadja cried out enthusiastically. "I've always wanted to be invited in since I was a kid." 


"You still seem to live in your childhood," Skylar scoffed. "What's so cool about the City Watch, huh?" 


"What's NOT cool about them? Imagine going on patrol every night! Fighting crime on the streets! Rescuing damsels in distress! Defeating villains in one-on-one fights! Using your catchphrase as you throw them in prison!" 


"Are you still reading those tacky web toons?" 


"Oh! So even you have heard of the SENTINEL OF LIGHT?!" Nadja droned on. "The renegade City Watch Inspector. Villains tremble at his mention. Common folks rejoice at his arrival. He wields an adamantine staff-" 


Nadja looked around and realized that the others had moved on, leaving him behind.
