Natalie

"Good morning Mister Lustwood, I didn't expect you to be here this early,"

"Punctuality is one of my greatest virtue,"

"Is that so? "

I'm currently seated in front of the orphanage keeper as she continues to sweat profusely. With the silence that encompasses in the office, I'm pretty sure she was frantically searching for an excuse to give me.

I guess I will have to tell her I'm not really returning the babies before she forms a pond beneath her legs.

"I will get straight to the point since you already know why I'm here. I've decided to.... " I tried to inform her of my intentions but the orphanage keeper suddenly interrupted me as she.....

"Please Mister Lustwood, how about keeping them in your custody for at least an additional month or maybe two months. I'm certain you won't regret it. Please try to.... "

The orphanage keeper whose name in actuality was Natalie, kept ranting about how it would benefit me if I were to keep all three babies.

I guess seeing her all fidgeted is a little bit amusing but I'm glad to see her more lively now. Her jet black hair seemed a lot more lustrous now than it was the last time I was here.

By the way she does look a lot more beautiful too. She looks a lot like those beautiful secretaries you see in movies, especially with those eye glasses she had on her.

You poor thing, you've been made to experience sleepless nights by those babies right? So you desperately do not want to have them by your side anymore. I Know how you feel.

I subconsciously nodded my head as I felt grateful to Deena for stepping into my life. Indeed, having a sexy elf maid in my life really made my life a lot more easier for me. But I'm certain she's feeling this unstable due to the space cube that was placed on her desk.

The space cube looked a lot like a colored puzzle cube with its six sides each having their own distinctive color. This meant a space cube could only have six colors in it.

Each side or face of the cube could only store a particular kind of object, it could be inanimate or animate. Each color face also had nine slots where the objects could be stored.

This was currently one of the best selling product in the market right now. It was a phenomenal invention which combined both science and magic to preserve and transport things a lot more easier.

This made it the perfect inventory to have in one's possession. Well I guess I have to put the cube back in my pocket before she runs out of breath. Oh! I have to take something out first.

"I'm keeping the babies,"

"Exactly my point Mister Lustwood! I would like for you to adopt all three babies and shower them with your .....uh?!...you mean you will...."

I nodded in response to her inquiry.

"Yes!!.... yes!!!....*Ahem*.... I mean Thank you for accepting all three babies. I'm positive all three would bring nothing but joy and happiness into your life."

Natalie composed herself right after she jumped and rejoiced in utter glee before regaining her distinguished personality as she declared to me while offering her hand for an handshake.

I returned the kind gesture before bringing out a copy of a photo Deena took last night from my back pocket and placing it on her table.

"What is this?" She inquired about the photo with a perplexed look on her face.

" I would like to know if you know anything about this?"

I pointed at the sigils on the girl's neck but Miss Natalie also had no clue of what it was. It was discomforting but I knew I had to find out somehow.

Right after the paperwork were signed and I now had exclusive rights to claim all three girls as mine. I thanked Natalie before exiting the orphanage.

I don't know why but I decided to take a walk today rather than teleporting back home in a hurry. I knew I had to cool my mind from all the thoughts spinning round my head.

I woke up this morning to find myself on the bed with Deena by my side. To be honest, I was ecstatic but alas I was a second too late as she had awoken before me.

Our eyes met and her soft tender cheeks reddened by the fact of the position we were in.

' Ahh!!... I'm so gutted at myself right now. I should have been awake an hour earlier and pretend my hands 'accidentally' landed on her succulent melons.

*Sighs* goddess of love, why have you punish me like this? Is it wrong to fall in love with the most beautiful lady I have ever laid eyes upon.'

Once the atmosphere around us had settled, I inquired about what happened last night from Deena but she said she didn't remember anything that occurred last night aside from her taking photos of all three babies.

I on the other hand seemed to remember what actually occurred but I do have to admit that my memories of last night still feels a little foggy.

Aside from seeing the adult form of all girls last night, I think something else happened to me last night but I can't seem to remember properly because I woke up this morning feeling a little different.

Different in the sense that I felt a huge chunk of energy had been sucked out of me.

Based on this feeling, I decided to take my adventurer membership card which had a means of recording its members levels and my suspicion was right. My levels really did took a drastic change beyond my wildest imagination.

Levels were a means used to measure an adventurer's strength. It aided in acknowledging the strong from the weak and the prodigy from the inept adventurers.

Aside from the levels, adventurers were awarded ranks based on the levels they were. The ranks were represented by tokens which looked a lot like dog tags with each tag varying in color from the other.

The different colored tokens aided in discerning the level of an adventurer in a quick glance.

Level 2251 - 2500. [Platinum]. (Rank 1)

Level 2001 - 2250 [Obsidian]. (Rank 2)

Level 1751 - 2000. [ Gold]. (Rank 3)

Level 1501 - 1750. [Silver] (Rank 4)

Level 1251 - 1500. [Bronze]. (Rank 5)

Level 1001 - 1250. [Cyan] (Rank 6)

Level 751 - 1000 [Scarlet]. (Rank 7)

Level 501- 750 [Emerald]. (Rank 8)

Level 251 - 500 [Sapphire]. (Rank 9)

Level 1 - 250. [Magenta]. (Rank 10)

The rank of an adventurer determines the kind of quest such a person could embark on whenever he doesn't enter a dungeon.

Dungeons were an easier way for adventurers to earn stipends. So far so good I was the highest level adventurer to have ever registered in the adventurer guild.

As I glanced into my membership card, I noticed my levels had decreased from a value of 2500 to that of 1600. Clearly I was a Platinum rank adventurer but now I'm a Silver rank adventurer.

Well I guess since I'm not really fighting in dungeons anymore, I don't really have to feel too concerned about it. But just to be on a safe side, I will have to seek counsel from those who can explain how such a thing became plausible.

"Extra! Extra!!.... Read all about it,"

As I was strolling across the street, I tipped a kid selling the daily newspaper.

I'm pretty sure the kid didn't Know that I threw a gold coin into his tin can of coins.

It's not like I'm being nice, I just don't have a copper coin on me right now. Glancing towards the first page, I read the headlines.

"Hehe.... How interesting,"
