I didn't kill all of them, sad. I didn't manage to count how many there were before, but there were only 40 left, including Makina and the Executioners leader. Samantha and i took advantage of the cloud of dust generated by the impact to enter the prison unseen, and proceeded through the corridor, which the signs on the wall indicated was the way to the G Ward. Our motive for entering Deadman Wonderland was the train which led to Kanto that went out directly from the center of the prison. The labs beneath sadly weren't connected to the center, so we couldn't get to the center from there.

It seemed this facility was built after some kind of big earthquake hit the hospital who existed here before, but i'm pretty sure it wasn't an natural ocurrence. This was the last incident of that caliber, though, so they managed to secure whatever had made that earthquake safely now. As we traversed through the wards, we found no resistance, no one was here to guard the way to the center, which meant either all of the guards were in the atrium or the rest of them were securing the boy, the alarm hadn't soared, so i doubted the latter.

Whatever it was, as we got closer to the center, my senses and fighting instincts picked up there was something really strong in there, and that something was very angry aswell. I reached the metallic door to the train, and concentrated my hearing on the insides, i heard some minimal movement, but nothing that indicated an big amount of enemie inside. I pulled out the laptop and overrid the prison's door control system, opening the metal gate that separated us form our objective.

We were met with the vision of an smaller Shinkansen, being loaded with an metal crate and an big cylindrical container made of some see-through material, which allowed me to see an hooded figure inside. All my instincts showed me whoever or whatever that was, it was the strong thing i had sensed before, and i deduced it was the one behind the earthquake as well. I immediately used {observe}.

I didn't really understand what it was, but seeing it's statuses gave me an idea of it's powers, somehow it must be capable of using it's blood to kill others, but that doesn't give much to go off. It's survival capability is frightening, though. There were two Executioners and three prison guards putting the cargo in the train, i rapidly shot the five of them

After that was dealt with, i got down to the platform and entered the only wagon there was. It was mostly empty, the only things being the container Shiro was in and the metal crate. I opened the crate and saw the glass lid below the crate's cover, in which the boy was inside some liquid. Doctor was more interested in what was inside the cylinder. I couldn't take the boy out, so i used {observe} on Brother.

|An dead body, preserved in chemicals|

Or Brother's body, i guess. I wonder how they managed to kill him, wasn't him supposedly immortal? I looked over to Doctor, who looked back at me.

"He's dead."

"What? How is that possible?"

"I suppose his regeneration was limited, or they cut off his cerebral activity."

"So this trip was for nothing."

"I wouldn't say that, we can take this one in place of him."

"I wonder why are you looking out for those freaks. Are you worried something will come after you, and you need as many allies as possible?"

"I'm not only worried, i'm certain of it. This world is doomed, my dear, and i plan to not end up doomed with it."

"You're an mysterious man, aren't you? Fine, keep your secrets to yourself."

I looked at the terminal on the cylindrical container. An Mother Goose System? What is that even supposed to mean? I disabled it, which was an bad idea, looking in retrospect. The glass exploded and sent us flying, the thing inside started throwing what seemed like whips of blood everywhere, i ran to Doctor, put her in an princess carry and started dodging the wild attacks. This continued on for an long time, i managed to only lose two fingers and most of my clothing, the wounds hurt badly, but i would live. Until it stopped, either out of tiredness or an sudden calm before the storm.

The hooded thing stopped flying and started doing something which i believe was crying. i put Doctor down, she was almost unscathed, with only some scratches here and there. I turned back to Shiro, and felt this was an good time to swoon someone over. I got close and hugged it, my touch seemed to be surprising.

"You're alive? Friends are alive!"

Definitely an woman's voice. She excitedly hugged me back.

"Shiro was sure she had messed up again, and killed friends."

It seems she has an childish mind.

"Why exactly did you mess up?"

"Bad men in coats made Shiro feel pain, so Shiro killed them. But good men in coats came, took care of Shiro. But she wasn't happy, felt the nice men were like the bad men before, so she killed them all. Shiro messed up and ended up in the sleeping tube."

"Who is this "she" you're reffering to, Shiro?"

"The other Shiro."

Probably an case of multiple personality disorder, considering the fact she said the other scientists made her feel pain, this second personality must be an way of dealing with that fact. This can be troublesome.
