Araromi looked at Eliza from the corner of his eyes. She was also now looking at the red roses with kin interest. When he heard that a stranger was in the palace ,he head been unbothered and cared less about who it might be, then when he heard it was a lady and she was so beautiful that she was mistaken for a mermaid, he developed interest in knowing who it was and wanting to see the beautiful stranger that was in the palace, that's was why he chose to go to her room to call her instead of the maid doing so and he wasn't disappointed, he was pleased with the sight that welcomed him, she was indeed beautiful, her beautiful green eyes that twinkled under the moonlight, he so badly wanted to see her smile, those lips of her's enticed him and he so badly wanted to take them in his and feel the softness of her lips, he had develop a liking towards her, right from the moment he heard about her and he had given her Ewa' because she is indeed beautiful. He had been with a lot of women and have bedded a lot of women but there was something different about her, he wanted her but in a different way. Eliza looked away from the red rose and looked back at the man who was sitted beside her and was still looking at the rose flower. "I want to go back to my room" she said and he looked away from the flower to look at her
"are you feeling sleepy already" he asked
"hm"
"so quick, stay a little more"
"I don't want to fall asleep here"
"it's okay, I will carry you inside"
"what, what do you mean"
"alright, let's go back" he said and stood on his feet and she did the same"
"I will walk you back to your room, we don't want to have you roaming around this late at night, it's dangerous"
"am fine, I know the way now"
"stop being stubborn"
"I just don't want to bother you" she whispered
"well that's thoughtful of you, so if you don't want bother me, obey me without any complaints"
"Alright" she said and followed him back inside the palace. They reached her room and Araromi watched her go in and shut the door, before heading back to his room.
Eliza fell on the bed heavily and whimpered in pain at the harshness of the bamboo bed against her back, she had forgotten that it wasn't her soft bed but a hard bamboo bed and she sighed, now she is finally away from the handsome wolf, everything about him looked strange to her, the way he spoke and his ability to instill fear in her, she isn't the fearful type but there is this fear that welled up in her, each time she had an encounter with him and the same goes for the king, she wondered if his brothers are like that too, the only person she was comfortable being with was princess Iwa, she enjoyed her company and desires to be around her, instead of the cold prince and the saddist princess. She adjusted herself on the bed to a more comfortable position.only if she could find her way back to the river, maybe she would be able to go back since it was the river that washed her here, that was the only theory and solution she could come up with. Her eyelid grew heavy and soon, she drifted into a peaceful sleep.
The sun stood high in the sky, shinning it's light on the people of the Oyo empire. The rumor of the strange woman that was found by the riverside spread among the people like whirlwind, some suggested that she should be killed as she might be a spy while some went against the idea as she might not be. Eliza walked back to her room from the bathroom. She reached her room and sat on the bamboo bed waiting for her meal to be served. Her hair was now styled in a traditional way that made her look more beautiful and she loved it, it wasn't like the ugly one she saw on the women in the village but it was styled in a royal way, she looked like a princess. A knock was heard on the door before it was pushed open and was follow by the entrance of the maid who brought her meal. She was glad the maid had taken to correction and had knocked before entering the room. She finished her meal and began to make plans on how to go back to the river where she found herself after the accident, the problem is that she doesn't even know the way to the river. Another knock was heard on the door and she turned to the door waiting for it to open and when it didn't, she said, "come in" then the door was pushed open and Princess Iwa Walked and it made her wonder why the royalties had manners but the maids doesn't. She hastily stood on her seat and bowed her head slightly."Good morning princess"
"morning Ewa, how was your night" she asked and came to stand beside her
"it was fine"
"I thought you might get bored staying alone in the room, come let's have some fun"
"thank you" she said and followed the princess out of the room. They walked through the he corridors and this part of the palace looked strange to her, though she had only gotten here yesterday, she had went to some few places in the palace but the part they are treading now, is another different part of the palace.
"You should get to know the princes and get along with them, they are fun to be with especially Adejare" Iwa said to her and she replied with a smile. They came to stand before a huge door and Iwa offered her a smile, " we are here" she said she pushed the door open and all eyes landed on them, her eyes moved among the princes and met with a set of deep blue eyes that was looking right into hers and her hearth began to beat fast in her chest and she hastily bowed her head to greet the princes and princes Shewa that was sitted among them.
