Explain

"Hello my sweet brothers. How did you both find the time to call this sister of yours together. It's been a while since we all had this family time. Awww… I am so happy that we are having this conversation now" Rain blabbered as soon as she answered the call.

One second…. Two second…. When there was no sound from the other end even after ten seconds, while both her brothers glared at her from across the country through the phone screen, Rain finally gave up. "I was wrong" Rain said pouting like an obedient child.

"Explain!" said Zed still glaring at her. In times like this it was always Zed dealing with her as Alex usually could not bear to scold his sister Rain so he would allow Zed to do the talking when he knew that it was for her best.

"Huh!!" Rain looked on confused.

"Explain what you did wrong?" Zed showed his usual dominant aura that was usually reserved for the world, except for his siblings who would only face this side of his when they did something wrong which may put their life in danger.

"I should have informed you as soon as I arrived here?" said Rain which earned an even stern glare from her brother.

"I should have told you both about this before coming here?" Rain said sheepishly looking at Zed who still had his stern glare.

"I should have told you when I was packing to come here?" Rain looked questioningly at Zed which earned a chuckle from Alex as he saw his sister with this cute expression just like a child admitting his mistake while trying to deviate his parent's attention from their major crime by admitting less serious mistakes coquettishly when getting scolded by his parents.

Alex instantly shut up when Zed glared at him.

"Sister Rain" Zed gritted his teeth.

"Fine! I should have discussed with you before deciding to accept this offer." Rain said looking at her fingers and pouting, finally giving up her strategy to deviate Zed's anger from the main topic.

"What do I do with you sister Rain" Zed said taking a deep breath as he looked dotingly at his sister. He could no longer stand her cute attitude specially when it was only recently that this sister of his had begun to show her emotions. "You should not have come here at any cost sister Rain" he said furrowing his brow again while looking at her dotingly all at once.

"Yes, sister Rain. This time I am with brother Zed. You know that it was difficult for us to run from their captive back then. We cannot let them know that you are still alive sister Rain." Alex said.

"I know. I know it all too well." Rain said once again switching back to her usual poker face. " How could I not know the risk I took this time. But…" after a short pause she continued, " I heard his voice."

"What!" Zed and Alex yelled at once. Shock, surprise, fear, anger and determination flashing their face once after other.

"Who is it?" Asked Alex gritting his teeth. It was rare for him to show this much anger and hatred on his usually happy face.

"Relax Alex" Zed said. "We will have our fun later" said Zed, the expression on his face echoing Alex's which was a contrast to his words. Then he turned to Rain "This is all the more reason to stay away from there sister Rain. You should just come back and let us handle the matter. Let us protect you this time. Just tell us who he is, and I swear he will suffer hell" anger bubbling like a lava inside him as all the sufferings of the past flashed his mind.

"I don't know who he is. I did not even see his face. I just heard his voice, but I am sure it was him and that he saw me but did not recognise me. That's why I decided to accept this offer at the last moment." Rain said.

Then Rain told them about the incident "When I was having breakfast that day and headed to Elliot to refuse his offer, I heard his voice. When I turned back to see him, I only saw a group of people leaving the hall with their backs facing me. I am sure it was one of those people because the rest of all the people there were my co-workers whom I had met the day before at the banquet had interacted with them all. It has to be from that group of people and I am sure he did not recognise me because if he did, he would not have left that early without trying to find about me. Moreover, there was no unusual movement in the city after that either."
